More Shoes

Post by Mr.jensen »

So I noticed while looking around my house, these running shoes. I modified them by removing all the stupid rubber off the outside of them, made up a lacing mod that seemed to open up the toe area more, and removed all the padding from the inside arch area. Here is a look. Feel free to post your thoughts on them. Sorry about the size, but I'm not sure how to resize the images. Oh, and here is the original shoe ( not in the same color though.) http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/6139533.html

These shoes are Puma Complete Phasis 2 running shoes. Given the outrageous price of 89.99 to 111.99 USD, these shoes are definitely not worth the money. These were laying around, useless and worn out, so I wanted to see if they were mod-able. They are, but I would not recommend buying these shoes, just get lavers. However, they DO work much better than what I was using and they were free.

but it must have been fun to experiment on even if they are not worth it though.we now know that there is one more shoe that lavers are better than.

You can probably glue some flexible tubing on to make a faux toebox if you're willing to do it. If you can toe stall well already without any box in general, then it's all good.

Those don't look too bad actually. Certainly shreddable by the looks
