Pirates of the Caribbean 3

Post by Switch Kicker »

Just was wondering how psyched modified is to see the final movie. I seriously (And I really mean it too.) nearly pissed myself when I saw previews for it several weeks ago.

I'll be going Friday night with a group of friends. I can't wait. More excited than when Spider Man 2 or 3, or the Matrix Reloaded or Revolution came out... Or LOTR, or just about any other movie... By Friday morning, I'll have turned into a giddy school girl. :)

I'll watch it, but really just to see if it is any good. The first was great, the second was in my opinion repetitive and a bit more childish. Hopefully this third one is at least better than the second.

Hmm,

Never really liked the first one. I mean, I thought it looked really good in the ads, but when I finally saw it I found it disappointing. It had its moments, but.... I don't know. Second one also looked really good, but I haven't even seen it yet.

What I am looking forward to, though, is riding the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney this summer. Don't know why, the ride isn't really exciting or anything (hardly any rides there are) but it has a certain charm.

See ya there.

I heard that they filmed at the same time as the second one...and the second one was better than the first one, I thought (really good)... I'm excited for it, but will wait a few days, or whatever. But, I mean, I guess if they filmed at the same time then this one should be good too?...

I saw the first one in the drive-in with Finding Nemo, and I saw the second one in drive-in with Cars...it was kinda neat, though I didn't really like Cars.

One of the guys my brother has worked with on short films actually went down to the filming site for 5 weeks as an extra an recieved a handsome payoff, for an extra that is. He was originally in the 2nd one as one of the village people in the opening scenes but got cut out. He's in this one though. Pretty kick ass.
I've liked all of them so far and this one looks just as great if not better.

The thrid one looks so identical to the second that i really just dont want to go see it. these movies are supposed to be funny or something but i didnt laugh once. i have no idea how they are so successful.

Are you kidding? Not funny? Jack Sparrow's character traits are hilarious.

that part where they were sword fighting on the water wheel thing... that was pretty stupid. i think they meant for it to be hilarious, but it was lame. dont get me wrong though... i am obsessed with pirates... but i also like realistic awesomeness.

Wow..This movie kicks ass :D I won't say any more than that really...For being filmed at the same time as the second.... It's sooooo much better. Absolutely stunning visuals :D

However.... We did miss the first ten minutes of the movie....
A.) My friend went to the wrong theatre
B.) My friend got a speeding ticket .....Route 66 sucks ....

<<< Is a wet giddy school girl. I can hardly contain myself. Another 8 hours to go though. That's... that's forever. I need to go do something to occupy myself... Maybe I'll hit up some Halo 3 at a friends... or go walk around the lake, or... I don't know. Counting days seems quicker and easier than counting hours.

I thought the second one really sucked. First one was alright though.

Jonny Depp pisses me off. Orlando Bloom pisses me off. Kiera Knightly I can manage.

Johnny Depp... I love him as an actor.

I'll see the third movie because it'll be fun. I'm not going get excited about seeing it because that would definitely lead to disappointment. I won't expect a realistic story line plot, but that's not why I really liked the first one and to a lesser degree the second one anyway. Seriously, a completely made up pirate movie about a ghost pirate ship then soul-stealing sea creatures? If people have problems with specific scenes being too unrealistic...

Anyway, I don't know if I'll see it in the theatres because right now I don't think any movie is worth $9.50. Screw you, Cinema 9.
