New FFFFFF Video is UP! Please comment - this is for us ALL!
Hey Everyone:
I don't know if you all have seen the Freedom Footbags Freestyle Fundamentals Flyer Featuring Jim Penske, but I'm FINALLY getting
around to having Evan help me post the "Video" version of the
flyer.
The first video is DONE, and I'd sincerely apprecaite any feedback
ya'll have on it. It's just inside kicks, but IMHO looks pretty
good.
Just remember what it was like to not be able to follow what
people were doing at all....
EDIT: LINK WAS BROKEN: THIS PROJECT HAS RECENTLY BEEN RESURRECTED! THE BLOG VERSION OF THE FFFFFF IS FINALLY UNDERWAY: PLEASE READ POST BELOW.
Thanks.
Peace.

What I would like the most from the community is what tips could be put on each of the 19 FFFFF flyer moves. 2-3 tips/trick. What made these moves "click" for you guys? Any other opinions and constructive criticism is much appreciated.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Hello Everyone,
There are no official videos yet (though many of them are at least partly complete, and will be posted within the next few days to weeks). This seemingly simple project really ended up being a lot of work.
Any comments anyone can offer on my first blog on the FFFFFF would be greatly appreciated:
http://www.freedomfootbags.com/blog/fre ... -and-more/
Thanks! Plus I'd like to offer a sincere thank you to Evan for all the video editing he's done - a ton of work, to be sure... As I mentioned, the videos will come soon... for now a sneak preview:

Hello Brian. I sincerely apologize for not addressing your PM sooner. I have been extremely busy lately and have not intentionally ignored your request by any means. I've been putting off the post about the FFFFFF for over a month now (since getting the near completed videos from Evan at the Missoula Jam) and had made that a priority. Anyway, I could go on about excuses but I'd rather address the issue at hand. After discussing the lead issue with Clavens at some length in February and also speaking with other people familiar with lead (namely Jack Kelller, who owned a bead shop) I have stopped carrying lead bags entirely.Psilocybe wrote:There. I responded to your blog. Now if you would respond to my PM, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I noticed that yours was purchased before this time, and I'm more than happy to replace your fill with Tungsten at no cost. This goes for anyone who purchased a Raye bag from Freedom Footbags. This issue has been weighing on my mind for some time now and I have simply been putting it off - sort of like a trip to the dentist. Anyhow, I have updated the Raye bags link on my site:
http://www.freedomfootbags.com/shredsho ... ucts_id=68
Josh and I have worked to keep the bags at the same cost even though our cost is significantly higher for tungsten.
I don't believe that the lead shot used in the original Raye bags was particularly soft, but at the same time I don't have any scientific evidence to show otherwise. I do know that when I switched out the beads in my original test model that there wasn't any appreciable "lead dust" in the existing fill. I think that some lead fill is softer than this as evidenced by the bag Clavens told me about (paraphrasing: "that it was noticeably filled with powder when he investigated the used bag").
Nevertheless all I can say is upon realizing that there may be any danger I stopped carrying the lead filled bags, and of the ones I had sold I believe the fill to be relatively "hard" - yet I am more than happy to replace the fill on them. I can also say that any 32-P that I've washed (no matter what the fill) collects tons of dirt which oozes with blackness when soaped and rinsed - I can't say that a Lead bag has more or less blackness.
Lastly, the tungsten fill in the Raye bags is the same as the "light" fill in the Penske Pro Model... It's not finely polished tungsten like that used in the "heavy" model. And, no one has yet commented on the Pro Model.
Peace.
