SPMario is the only game that really hurts about me not having a Wii.

Wow. Tiger Woods is the worst game ever made. Period. If I had actually paid to rent it, I would have asked for my money back. I'll stick to the xbox versions instead.

really habI??? perhaps u could expain why.. tiger is easily in my top 5 of over 20 games I own. Well I really like golf games in general but:
tiger challenge, over 40 tournaments for 5 years, soooo many modes inculing one ball, 18 challenge ect... whats not to like??? maybe you didn't figure out how to hit it straight consistantly? you can put it on easy mode and it goes straight every time yah know.

got blazing angels, dragon ball z, and medal of honor recently.
I didn't think I'd like WWII games but blazing angels convinced me to get medal of honor. BA is another game where the controls work PERFECTLY FINE if you play the game for more than an hour, yet the reviewers will say the are inconsistent or flawed... what ever, to each there own. Haven't played enough of the other 2 to give a review but dragon ball looks like its got TONZ of unlockables which is what I like.

I truely thought the swinging was ... fucking lame. I cannot describe how much more friendly the xbox version is, even the Wii Sports Golf was better. I tried for more than 1.5 hours trying to get it down. The graphics are a step down from previous IMO. Is super swing the same style shreDZdaillys?

Three words ...

Super
Paper
Mario

This game is fucking epically outrageous! The pit of 100 trials like whaaaa? YOu can play 4 different characters. Learning different (super) powers. Switch in between 3d and 2d. Everyone should play that game now.

the style is a bit different, but the game is even harder. computer is ruthless and you start with one character and one course and it takes a while to unlock stuff. yeah wii doesn't do realist graphics too well, but games like mario and sonic look killer imo.
i got marvel alliance but my gf has the wii so I can't play it and have been busting out on my psp: huray 4 hawk, grand theft auto, burnout, hotshots ect...

i have a 360... which i like better than the wii. im not sayin that its worse, im just sayin its aimed at a more specific age group, which i fall into. wii is fun for kids, elders, and everyone between. i just like to play halo, call of duty, gears of war, guitar hero, and all those kinds of games.

also.. this is kinda random but why does it say "hack fiend" under my name? its i cool but how did it get there?

bought a ton more games...

i must say barnyard is the biggest surprise and TONS of fun. basically your goals are to become the master of mini games and create a rockin barn filled with games lights and all sorts of fun stuff. I'm hardly any where in the game and already i've encountered first person shooters, mini games like in rayman, tony hawk type games, and puzzels.
all u renters go check it out or go get a copy from one of amazons sellers for under 20 like i did

Just found that topic and I have to say I love my wii :D

Just today I had a really funny session with a mate of mine - first we played footbag until we barely could walk anymore. Then we got something to eat and after that I introduced him to my Nintendo Wii (which he didn't know at all). I showed him Wii Sports and Wii Play and he totally got addicted to Tennis in Wii Sports. We Played until we faced Pro AI lvl 2000 and it was so much fun and really exhausting (that's why I love Wii , finally I can play Games and exercise my body at the same time :D - ok there is Eye Toy but why should I wash windows that aren't real when the real ones are dirty too ? )

After a really really long session of Wii Tennis we went for another Footbag Session and in the end we were so zapped (Arms and legs weighed tons :D)

Have Zelda, Wii Sports, Wii Play and CoD 3 and I am looking forward to buying Mario Party and Smash Brothers of course :)

Alright, so this Memorial Day weekend I'm drinking with my friend over at this kids house who I've never met before. We're all sitting around watching the Pistons/Cav's game, and that ends. We're trashed. We're bored. Beer is running low and my fifth of Jack has 5 or 6 shots left.

AND THEN!!!

Dude's sister (Who is actually pretty cute and has a bed that NASA uses you know those really comfy ones they advertise on TV?) comes in with a fucking Wii! Now I'm a little sceptical because I have a X360 and as far as downright gaming is concerned, it takes the cake. But for drunken nights with your buddies, Wii is fucking badass. The person above who said Bowling kicks ass is absolutely correct. Absolutely fucking correct. But it's all about minimization of motion. I tried Boxing but it really didn't work because I'm out there throwing Haymaker's and hooks and shit when really you just gotta move the little controller thing a little bit. Tennis is also very fun, but I went like 0-5 against dude's sister.

Personally, after having owned a Wii since March, I think the Wii is consistantly boring with bad graphics with just WRETCHED games. I find myself just sitting there in Blockbuster, just staring at the games for like 30 minutes in hopes something will attract me to rent it, nothing ever does. I'm just forced to play shit games like Red Steel and Bionicle Heroes or maybe Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, a (boring) game that came out for the xbox over a year ago. Yay.

Almost all the games are just super cheesy. I mean, who can deny that? All the actual good games (trauma center, warioware) are super short and get boring after a couple hours to the point you never want to play them again, ever. It seriously is like playing a Dreamcast (no offense to the Dreamcast, which I would play over the Wii any day) with a different style of controller which isn't all THAT cool/great once you use it for a while.

Wii sports is fun and I would (sadly) say the best game so far for the Wii. For those first couple weeks, you just have a blast with your friends. Then you just get pro at everything and it's the same thing over and over.

Dan has it right, the X360 is WAY WAY better when it comes to gaming. The Wii lacks in SO many categories in comparison to other systems that I feel sorry for myself for buying it because I'm not exactly rich so it took a lot of my saved money.

Wii is really fun for like a month. After that month, you start to realize all of it's faults and how you could have spent that money better. I'm going to sell my Wii and buy an X360 and continue to actually enjoy my gaming system. Maybe I'll give it a try in like 2 years when Wii actually comes out with a one solid game. I will miss not getting to play Super Mario Galaxy, but hey, that's what friends are for.

wii hasnt even released it's best games yet. the ds took almost 2 years to start getting some sick games, and its still got some new ones to come. the wii is barely over 6 months old and youre wanting to get rid of it? smash bros brawl hasnt even been released yet... mario party was released yesterday... super mario galaxy comes out at christmas. theres so much more to look forward to!

I second that. There is so much to come. Not to mention all the games that haven't been announced yet, that you know are coming out.

You KNOW they're working on a StarWars game with cool ass lightsabre fighting in it. They have to be.

Smash Bros Brawl is coming too, which will be worth the $250 just alone. Smash Bros never gets boring... Never. I still play SSBM quite often. Go Falco.
