Is blurrier harder than blurriest?

With blurriest, the dexing foot lands first so it can immediately start the double down. With blurrier it lands second, giving you a little less time.

Do you think blurrier is harder? And if so, shouldn't blurrier actually be called blurriest? Or is blurriest called that because its a blurry set?

While we're on the topic, who invented those moves and when?

I think most people find blurriest easier because it flows better.

I don't think the -iest vs -ier has anyting to do with how hard either is supposed to be.

I find blurrier easier than blurriest. I think it's just b/c I set it better w/ the "ier"

Rippin invented blurriest. What I was told was that Rippin had hit this new trick (blurriest) and did it in a circle with a bunch of of other old skoolers, but the dexes moved so fast that no one could tell if it was clean or not, hence the name blurriest. Apparently it was so hard to see the dexes that they had to bust out the old vhs camera and tape the trick so everyone could watch the trick back in slow-mo to see what it actually was

. I don't know if it was Rippin or someone else who actually came up with the name, but at the time it made perfect sence. Since then, "blurry" became a set (stepping paradox) which the tricks blurrier and blurriest are not part of, making for some confusing explanations. I don't know the dates for any of this, maybe someone of an older school than myself could chime in on that and the blurrier origin?

It depends on what your strong stepping set is and what your strong double over is. For some it will be blurriest, for others it will be blurrier

Theoretically speaking, if we had two clones of an average person, who have never tried footbag before, and one of them started learning Blurriest while other one learned Blurrier at the same time, which clone would hit his trick first? I would say the Blurrier one, because he would only heave to learn one Clipper. For me it's hard to say, but I think it's Blurrier.

i love the quirks of footbag, like the fact that blurrier and blurriest arent actually blurry, and moves like blur are despite having identical sounding names. oh, footbag. you slay me.
