Its the entire orchestra mapped out to a keyboard. Each note is sampled multiple times with different attacks and different nuances. PURCHASE IT NOW!

It is a library of samples. Someone took all the instruments from an orchestra and recorded them. They recorded every note. Separately. They recorded them with different attacks. They recorded them many other ways. Now what you do, is you load the samples into a sampler, and you play them on a keyboard (or program them through midi) and it's sounds like the instrument.
Samples are useful for when you are composing music, but don't have the time/money to actually record, say, a cello part. So you just open up the sampler, and you can have that cello part, without the actual cellist.
