why are you guys making a new page like that? there are quite enough pages. in my opinion you should better unite your group with an already existing page.

just my thoughts. :D

1st: are there sitres like this in german?
2nd: wich?
3rd: why not to make something new? its allways fun? and, you dont need too like it. we just think it was a site that in that form hasnt been existant in this form, so we made it. and if you are referring too www.footbag.ch or www.planetfootbag.de , its not the same as our site... and if in the future we can somehow unite with other sites, we surely will keep an eye on that and discuss this.

no offending tho, everyone has a right for an own opinion. just my personall thoughts!

sorry again for hijacking this thread!

Soooo after another long period of not having written anything in here (sorry I've been lazy 8) ) I will update everything a bit:

First I want to reply to Flavio's thoughts about paradoxfeet...and frankly speaking I think he is right...I think there are already so many footbag related pages all over the world (also for German speakers : www.footbag.org / www.footbag.ch - both pages are in a phase of reconstruction which should lead to much more information both available in German and English - more updates, more news, more input from all over the world)...I thought about it and I suggest we put our efforts into www.footbag.org instead of paradoxfeet because the site is already largely known and has been existing for quite a lot of time already...Just my thoughts...let me hear what you think...(with you I mean Marco and Jochen and also Flavio again if he wants)
and nevermind about hijacking this thread you can reach me on modified on this thread the fastest and best way so I welcome any input about anything (which is of course related to me in some way  )

Now of course this is a blog so I will update some new things hit by me:

Spinning Ducking Osis
Pixie Butterfly (aka Dimwalk) again :D
a few Swirls
PS Mirage
Any kind of far legover or pickup or ss Mirage etc. Stuff - any kind of trick from a clipper set :D
Spinning Osis and Spinning Clipper and almost Spinning Butterfly
Ducking Clipper > Ducking Butterfly
Almost a Tapping Mirage (Atomic ss Mirage)

I've been practicing a lot lately and I'm on my way of breaching a big limit of my game...I'm getting better and especially I'm getting away from Bails - Toe Stalls etc. which I want to exclude from my combos fully soon

For that I am constantly drilling my sets like Pixie, Atomic and Stepping which are the three most important ones for me at the moment - I love the weather which is warm enough for topless shred to the limit of my endurance :D

Go Footbag :D

@ Flavio: thx again for everything, I had a great time in Wolhusen

nothing to say to paradoxfeet again. feel free doing whatever you feel like.

maybe just:

"Footbag is a small sport, don't try to make it smaller with splitting it up and founding new pages which are really going to scatter the sport more and more."
no idea how this one got in my brain... :D

everyone has its own opinion, you can have yours, and i, and i think jochen too, respect it. we wont force anyone, and if the whole thing isnt working out, we use it as a playground too try a few things, that we then can input too the existing sites... i surely dont want too make the sport smaller.... the opposite is the case... maybe we are on the wrong way, but what if not? very jedi talkish, but... yeah, just let us make... :P see ya at todexon! or...worlds, euros, wereever..we´ll meet!

Oh I should visit modified more often....

Flavio and Julian , you input is highly appreciated. If you have to criticise us that is an important feedback.
It will lead to thoughtshow we could do better.
So thanks for that.

First of all I want to tell you something what is absolut unique about www.paradoxfeet.de .

We are a footbag club for the whole german speaking area.
That means solo shredders ( or people in clubs who think they want to put some effort in our club and sport ) got an opportunity to bundle their motivation / potential/ resources and make things happen.

I always wanted to have a flyer with all the infos about footbag in German.
Such a project needs time and energy. This is hard for one person. So we splitted the work and the flyer is progressing.
Not that fast but it progresses steadily.
The sites you are mentioned are super resources but not the same as a club.

Moreover we are talking about organizations not clubs. We do not want to be better or distract people from those sites.
We want to make new things happen which will show up at those sites ( f.org and f.ch ) in the news section ( for example our finished projects or make a tournament or upload a video ). Those things won't happen if the club won't exist ( forget the tourney because Marco is organizing this on its own - mega props dude! ).

There are always the same questions?
What do you think our sport could need; can we make that happen on your own; let's start to think about .
We do not need to ask anyone or must inform many people and have to wait for their input.
Nothing against organizations like footbag.ch or footbag.org but they are slow and that is good because they should not make big mistakes or decide without knowledge of the other board members.
A Club can act faster and more productive and if we make a big mistake we just quit the project.
Then we rethink and learn out of our mistakes and maybe the next one will be better...

You can join our club or tell us your ideas , maybe we start a project together.

That is my idea behind the paradox feet footbag club and I cannot see any conflict with the already existing sites.

After months of sportive hibernation I am BACK 8)

Already had 4 weekend sessions and soon I will be able to do much more because the f......ing military service will be history FOREVER :D

Just wanted to say that I'm not dead and I will still have to practice a lot to get to the level I used to be on but...I am motivated like never before to do something useful after 10 months of absolutely senseless BS

Hope I see some of you guys at the next big tournament in Switzerland and I hope you are all still healthy and alive ^^

Update :

After a few nice sessions I have pulled off a few tricks quite nicely or the first time at all :D

Pixie (both sides) : My right side is getting quite good already, more than once I got the bag up to my nose but mostly I was too stunned to pull off anything after that ^^ ...My left side is better than I've ever thought it would be after so many months of shred abstinence - pixie I'm coming ;)

Pixie Mirage : Forgot the correct name but I was thrilled when I hit it the first time...so much fun I just love footbag

Pixie butterfly : Almost bsos :D

Whirl : Never really hit it before even if I thought I did but now I am getting very close and once I've hit it but it was so poorly executed that I didn't really accept that as "hit" so I continued...Very soon this trick will be mine ;)

Atm I am mostly practising my basics actually because I want them to be more than just good when I continue to learn new tricks :)

Today's session with mate from the Madbags (St.Gall Footbag Club Switzerland) ;)

-Couple of Pixie op Mirage

- Pixie op Legover (or AtW ? not sure of that)

- Basic drilling with consecutives

- Ducking Clipper Bsos ..never really hit that one b4 :D

- Whirl :D After a few tries where I always kicked the bag in the end instead of stalling it it worked quite well

- Blury's and Blurr

- Ducking Mirage, Ducking Pdx Mirage and Ducking PS Mirage ;)

- Almost a Drifter (both sides actually :D)

- Almost Pixie Dada Curve

more things I can't remember :D

Atm I am mostly still drilling my basics while practicing because me left leg is far from being as good as I want it to be. My goals for near future are Pixies, Whirls, Drifters, Atomics and Steppings (then Swirls and Torques :D) Of course all both sides, I have lots of time to spend practising and I am very very very motivated and ambitious to get a decent shredder during this sommer (and keep practicing during winter too but that's still far away 8) )

Keep shredding and thx for any comments :D

I LOVE FOOTBAG AND I LOVE BEING FOREVER FREED FROM MILITARY SERVICE YEAAAAAAAAAAH

Sorry for that one just came over me :D

I would want to shred very very hard atm but I had a really big session today and at the end I almost sprained my ankle while trying to hit a legbeater :?

Hope that tomorrow it won't be worse than it is at the moment I don't feel pain in my right ankle but still I know that it wouldn't want to be stressed right now...

Going to Euros for sure and hope to see many of you guys there and I hope until then I will have regained all the skills I used to have and even more...

Couldn't shred yesterday because of the bad weather (freaking cold and rain all day long) plus my foot has took a bit more damage when I've almost sprained my ankle then I thought in the first place...Gonna see today if it's ok again because the weather is fine and I want to shred so hard :D

Ps: Can anyone tell me how to get rid of my poll ?

Pps: I'm thinking of selling those Clima's how are actually the topic of the poll because they have become too small for me so if anyone reads this and is interested (the mods aren't completly done but the shoes haven't been seriously damaged by my rather weak modding skills).. so if anyone wants them I'd sell them very cheap ;)

New Session today (foot is alright no damage done :D)

-Hit a few nice whirls with right foot and nearly hit one with my left foot too :D

-Once again Ducking PS Mirage and I learned Symposium Mirage with my flipside

-Hit a Pixie Ss Clipper with my Flipside :D But my Pixies are still pretty weak mostly, especially with my flipside :? ...

-Hit Paradox Mirage Bsos and Ducking Mirage Bsos

-Finally got the knack of the Gyro Concept and hit Gyro Mirage on both sides and Gyro Clipper ;)

-More Basic Drilling (flipside is killing me) : Clipper, Osis, Butterfly and Inside Stalls and Kicks

Hope that my ordered Footfighters arrive soon because my Abshire doesn't want to break in and all my other bags have holes or are just too broken in to play with them (they are like sandbags and not 32 panel bags :? )

Tomorrow more footbag :D

Today's session was quite disappointing...The wind always blew away my docbag (which is too much broken in unfortunately..he plays like a half full sandbag) and my Abshire doesn't want to break in (after 3 weeks of handmassaging, kicking and washing it :x ) and my footfighters haven't arrived yet

First I thought to drill all kinds of moves but then I focused on Pixies. But to my disappointment it didn't work at all. My flipside seems to have gone from better to much worse from yesterday to now and also my strong side isn't getting much better. When I failed a few clippers in a row I was so mad that I went back to the super basics with the Abshire bag (so you have to execute a move 100% to stall the bag in the end otherwise it will roll off your shoe for sure)

I just drilled Atws (in and out) with both sides and I realized that my flipside is still too much of a flipside so I had a 20 min session flipside only (Toe stall, Inside Stall, Atws and Clippers) When I started to drop less I was hungry for more so I started to go for the 3 adds again (whirl, rev whirl, butterfly and osis) and Illusions too.

Hit Illusion with Flipside but I guess it was quite "the" unfortunately I have no camera to videotape it and put it online but I will watch some more vids today and practice in front of the mirror to see if my dex is correct.

Apart from that I didn't hit anything new :(

Nevermind tomorrow is a new day and hopefully my Footfighters will have arrived by then :D

I read at the Faq that you can't delete a Poll once there has been voted on it unless you are a Administrator :D

So I will have to pm Moxie I guess..

Thx for the tip anyway ;)

After the session this afternoon I went to workout at our footbag club (we were only two people :D )

Hell lot of fun and hit a few nice things :

- Spinning Clipper bsos

- Almost inspinning clipper

- Spinning Ducking Clipper

- Spinning Osis

- Almost Atomsmasher

- Whirling Osis (somehow it landed on my foot...I have no idea how I did it and I still don't understand the trick but I'm quite sure that the dex wasn't the)

- Another Ducking PS Mirage

- some whirls

It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed shredding with Philipp (the other guy from our footbag club) with whom I haven't shredded for weeks).. But I guess I will have to make a break because of my sore muscles...perhaps tomorrow because the weather report is bad anyway :D

Ps: Thx at the admin for deleting my poll ;)

My new Footfighers have arrived :D

But because my muscles still need some recovering time and the weather is more than bad (very cold and rain) I'll have a footbag-free day today. Hope that the weather will get better by tomorrow and I can shred with my new bags :)

This evening I will play some poker with a few friends of mine, will sure be a hell lot of fun :D

Still no footbag today because of the weather and my fitness, neither is apt for footbag :(

But I am looking forward to shredding soon with new bags and new energy :D

The poker evening was rescheduled to today because too many people couldn't come in the end so it's gonna be an interesting evening for sure :)

Hope to be updating this topic with more shred soon ;)
