Sick!

I really like your style. The rev swirl moves are great. Especially like the surging and DSW was sick. 0.0

I miss your red lavers though. :(

Holy crap Byrin! When did you get so fucking good at atomics? Pred > Pred was beautiful! And Bed > Phx RPT dammit I want your eggbeaters. I like how you saved some of those big MFJ moves for Kevin's video, that is gonna be sooooo awesome when it comes out.

OH BTW, EXCELLENT song selection. Probably one of top 10 fave songs of all time. Went with the setting really well. Hope Shredmonton is a blast, peace out.

Thanks :). Unfortunately there was some footage that I couldn't use because I fucked up capturing it, but... I'll leave the best stuff for Worlds so you can see it in person ;).

Yesterday's YMCA sesh was pretty good. Nuclear was working pretty good for me, though unfortunately it made left my knee feeling weak.

- 69 bs
- Nuke ss DLO bs
- Gyro Weaving Torque
- Nuke ss Butterfly > Nuke ss Mirage > Legbeater > Nuke ss Butterfly > Nuke ss Butterfly > run
- Torque > Inspinning Osis bsos
- Ingyro Mirage bsos

Today I'm going to Chucky Cheeses for the first time. Yeah, I'm halfway through my twentieth year of life and never been to Chucky Cheeses (we never had oen in Peace River). Should be exciting!

Haha :D
Let us know how that goes, Byrin!

Props on the nuclear stuff! I liked seeing the rubberman 2 in the video! Those first couple moves had some neat style going on... I don't remember what it was, but something stood out. I really want to do more nuclear now!

Chucky Cheese's was epic! I got over 450,000 points on the skee-ball, and won about 267 tickets or so. I rocked!

Last night's YMCA sesh was pretty good, though my knees are feeling real sore today. Everybody was playing fairly well. My grasp on inspinning is getting better, while my fearless still sucks  .

- In-Mobius bs
- Inspinning Whirl
- Inspinning Osis > Pdx Torque bsos
- Inspinning Osis > Blur bs
- Spinning Symp Egg > Atom Smasher
- Pdx Whirl > Far Rev. Swirl > Inspinning Osis > run
- couple of +30 runs

I hit my Sick 1 for ShrEdmonton, and worked on my Shred 30 a little bit before my knees really started to hurt. I really can't wait to see people again (especially you Erik!).

Good shred tonight. My knees feel sore, however, but other than that...

5 attempts at Shred 30. 2 dropless. 2 with 1 drop. I worked my Sick 3 as well.

Some of the highlights...

- Mobius > Gyro Whirling Swirl
- Inspinning Osis > Gyro Whirling Swirl (much cooler)
- Gyro Rev. Swirl > Inspinning Osis bs
- Far Rev. Swirl > Inspinning Osis bsos (really big momentum switch on that one)
- 25 contacts of my 28 contact shuffle drill :x
EDIT - Inspinning Osis x 4

I'm excited for ShrEdmonton. Looks like a lot of people are coming this year :D.

Kicked for an hour at these tennis courts that Kevin and I found about 3 blocks from our house, then we got rained out. By the time we got back home, we were drenched, but I wanted to kick more. Ended the session 30 minutes later with...

- Rubberman 2 > Rubberman > split Laver

Oh yeah, and my car broke down on Sunday and is in the shop. Then today I was a fucktard and made my girlfriend really upset with me - that's probably the reason why my Lavers ripped. Thank you karma, I know I deserve it.

Weeeeeeeeeell, it's Sunday morning and I'm still alive. The players party this year was off the hook! Keg stands all around, Rory supplying us with fantastic homemade freckled lemonade and the good vibes everybody was putting out made this year the best ShrEdmonton imo.

On the competition side of things, I've never performed so well. I did my Shred 30 dropless (236.1), nailed 4 seven add tricks in 5 attempts in Sick 1 and hit two Sick 3s (Surging Whirl > Whirlwind > Spinning Blender second attempt followed immediately by Surge > Alpine Legbeater > PS Egg). My family came out to watch which I was very thankful of, and they had a lot of fun. Rory did routines to keep spectators entertained, which was a fantastic idea, and then finished off the competition with a footbag kicking bubble gum blowing contest.

I was really happy to see a lot of these people again, especially Erik since the last time I saw him was at Hackrifice 05. Everybody drove +15 hours to get here, and to us that means a lot. It really says something about the friendships we've created over the years of footbagging.

Well, those are my hungover thoughts for the morning. I'm hoping it will be nice enough outdoors for us to play at the Legislature, but looking out the window all I see is cloud cover :/. Oh well. With the people who are with us this weekend, everyday is a sunny day :).

Propsorz for nailing 236.1 points in Shred30, that's awesome! Surge > Alpine Legbeater > PS Egg is a great combo too, I'd love to hear what the tricks you've hit in Sick1 were :D Anyway, it's cool that you had a fun time (cause it's always fun when the comps go well :) ).

Pozdrawiam
