I love this sh**!!! Absolutely worth watching!

Super awesome oldschool videos. It's so amazing watching these guys shredding and comparing it to nowadays shred . The level of play has just gone up to IDONTKNOW.
Cute little Vaska hitting barroque seemed to inspire the crowd...
Hit it today, nobody cares.

Thanks a lot Erik, muchmuch appreciated! Brought back the old times.

P.S. Are there any more videos? e.g. some of
- Chad (1998, 1999)
- Allen (1998, 1999)
- Vaska (2001, 2002, 2003)
- Peter Irish (1998, 1999)

Yeah, I was planning to post the Vasek routine (first Vasek footage) next week, anyway. I'll include some older videos of those guys too.

Thank you, Erik! I'm stoked enough on Jan's refractions alone. The quiet session was epic too. The more of these the merrier!

UPDATED!
I didn't upload some of the videos people requested, because I almost forgot about the update and had to go with some of the extra videos I'd picked out from last week. I'll try to remember for next week for some more older school stuff. I also want to put up this one Lynton special. I have one at the moment, but the shred isn't as good as the one I'm thinking of...I gotta look through, like, 70 footbag video discs to find it... And, yeah. There's some good stuff this week. CSS3 was EPIC!

I wish I had some good Regulator footage from CSS1 on my computer, though! THAT is classic... If any new players get a chance to watch Eric Windsor's ORIGINAL "Just Shred" video...DO IT! It's the only video I watched on repeat for, like, 3 or 4 years, back in, like, 2000 (and back then the only videos were 2-hour long, unedited VHS tapes!! (ie: THE BEST!)

is that really the first vasek footage online? There was a couple of videos on .cz when he was only hitting like butters, osis and ripwalk. What pre-dates what?

Well, I'm not 100% that it was the first clip. Those others that you're talking about may have been filmed before, but I don't know if they were really available at .cz before this? I'm not sure. Was Footbag.cz even around back then? I don't remember.

i don't want to rain on your parade, but that is absolutely not the first Vasek footage online. I have some older stuff, which I think Dexter posted many years ago just to inform the community about this little kid in Prague that was learning faster than most others. Laughably I didn't think much of him at the time, with his mirages, butterflies and 'the' barrages. A couple of those priceless clips are in my upcoming "Vasek in Africa" video.

Erik, it's cool to see some older stuff reposted for those not around to see it before. I don't care to watch any of it, but I find it strange that you are making it temporary! Why not just make a new album at footbag.org called classic videos, and leave them online forever? Makes no sense to me.

While I'm stealing your thunder, if anyone wants to see truly classic videos-- pre-internet-video days-- get the Grounds+Ripwalk DVD.

peace

Oh God, it's been YEARS since I've seen that CSS3. I LOVE THAT VIDEO. THANKS!

And to second + supplement what Ellis is saying, this would make a great youtube channel.

Actually there were some before that, mostly single trick demos. They probably no longer exist.

Oh, I didn't realize "juanjam" was the same as the "chosen juan" video. Thanks for the heads up.
