PHEW!

Good times.

Thanks to everyone for making it out, lots of soccer and beer and other things, lots of laughs held by all. SHOUT OUTS TO...

Kolo and Klik for running everything, if it wasn't for them nothing would have happened. Thank you sirs.

Paul A. for crashing at my place and accepting my humble fournishings. His footbag and specifically yo-yo skillz made loads of impressions on some good friends of mine, and his pimping skillz were the source of much amusement by all.

Matt Cross
, for being laaaaid back, chill, and great to be around. I'd like to congratulate his participation in the roll-off, bow to his guitar-skillz, and his Zen attitude and aura of calmness. Much love goes out to the guy, and, random trivia, when I started playing footbag, he was the first non-montrealer I met and I thought he was the World Champion. He still is.

Chris DeanA (no typo), for Mad Foobag and Mad Science skillz. His matchstick frame holds a big heart, believe you me. It's always a pleasure kicking and chilling with this man, and his light-hearted demeanor always brings a smile to those around him. He also parties hard. Hard.

Jorden Moir
, killing it on the ones and twos. His footbag game is as large as life, and thats big, let me tell you... big. His shred impressed some good friends of mine to pick up footbag. We of the player's world salute you. You're pretty good at soccer, dude, and your juggling skillz are unique. And congratz on the win.

James Mcldjaushduah
, the Ninja Soccer player himself, blades always sharp and ripping things apart with his super soccerbag skillz. His presence makes a lot of things more enjoyable, and good tries in the competition.

Tom Mosher, for being the energy of the event. Phew. Let us NOT forget his amazing wickysnack skillz, and feel-good laugh that made everyone laugh at.. with him. He also did the gayest thing ever with me. And it wasn't sex.

The Digges! Will was smoothing his way to second place victory, and gave Jordan some good competition in the competition. I used the same word twice but there's two Digges brothers so it's A-OK. Will's dancing skillz are also unique and the Montreal Gang salutes you. Play more and get drunk around me more. Josiah the Messiah, we didn't get a chance to kick, but it's always great to have your cool smile and wicked californian looks around us. I saw some of your game and daaaaaamn. He also has the sickest aviators ever, ever.

Andrew
, for coming down from Nunavut for his 25th birthday, happy birthday again, and kicking with me and co.! Good times were had by all with your incredible energy and hype attitude, and much love goes out to many many MANY rambling speeches from 10pm-8am on both days. Thanks again for the supper saturday. If you read this before wednesday, btw, call me to kick once more. Ill PM you the number.

Camilleon, for being an awesome footbagger and overall fun person to be around. For those who don't know, Camille has been kicking and holding down the fort for 17 years, but this was her FIRST TIME outside of Toronto! She says she has a fear of cars, and I salute her for her effort to getting out here and kicking with us!

For the rest of the PHAT crew, thanks for coming out and being there. I know I'm forgetting names here, but big-ups to all and thanks for letting me chill with you guys at the hostel. For those who don't know you, the T.Dot crew communicates telepathically, so if you have a 2.4GHZ phone around them, it might get some interference, so remember to switch to the alternate band.

Hmmm too many names. Too many good times! And it ended too soon :(

See you all next time.

Same BAP place... Same BAP time.

superprops to nick for hooking up the crash space and all the laughs, phew, good times.

i was talking in the car on the way back with chris and matt about how this definately ranks in the top 2 or 3 events ive been to. montreal is definately one of my favorite cities ever and the people at footbag tournaments just make for the sweetest time ever.
