Worlds - Chez Peng communication thread

hello,

this is a thread for the people staying at Peng's house at Terra Verde. That is myself, pengpeng du, tom mosher, peter irish, caro bourgoin, seb duschesne, james mccullough, aidan clemente, and gordon bevier.

just wanted to get this going in case we have any important information that we'd like to have shared with everyone at once.

I'll start the thread by saying how incredibly excited I am for worlds. I think this is going to be one of the best weeks of my young life, and that has a lot to do with this awesome living arrangement we have worked out. You all are some of my favorite people to have met on the scene. This is going to be great.

Peng is so amazing for really causing the wave of momentum towards getting these houses.

Yes, let me double that last statement for those of us who might not grasp this:

without pengpeng, this whole "staying off-site in houses" would probably still be a disorganized thread with no one doing anything, and if anyone WAS booking houses, they probably wouldn't be all together at this wonderful little community just off site.

Peng, you are my hero. You have done a lot to make my world championships experience so much better. It's gone from "time of my life" to "totally unreal".

I feel weird with all this dedicated attention.

You guys have to credit Aidan and Flash just as much for gathering this kick-ass lineup. I just wanted to stay with Aidan at first (since she kicks so much ass) so I had Tom call Flash. She and Flash are the ones who suggested the Montrealers and Irish. It just naturally snowballed into this.

Tom also did a lot of the calling work to get everything booked and planned. Everyone deserves a pat on the back. I like everyone I'm staying with, and even if I haven't met Caro yet, I'd bet she great too. I've yet to meet a footbagger in person I did not like.

And Matt, Aidan said "FF" to me at Kickass I believe.

So people are all getting houses close together? How far are other peoples houses from this one? And from the event site?

We're all at the same resort Ian. And so it's all within a walking distance from each other. The furthest away house is Jon's, which is about a 10 minute walk from ours. Everyone else is about 5 minutes walk away from our house.

The resort is about a 10 minute drive from the event site.

I'd just like to tell our crew that our house is directly across the street from the club house facility.
