today was pretty good.

worked on getting moved into the other room, and basically desetroyed a 32 year old desk. it was a task! i like craftsmanship, but not when i have to take it apart. or help smash it up.

finished obaras bag.
Image

quite nice, and notice my soda reserve as the background. wally world has them on sale.

then dinner was hotdogs, one of my fav eats. burnt.

off to shred with lee for two hours at 6.

sold lee some bags, hit two new moves, and did pretty well. holly did really well too! lee is really close to spinningmobius and pixie mobius.

i hit pixie toe blur, and blurry illusioning butterfly. both were clean from what i understand.

bsosed dimwalk, dlo, and blur in one guiltless string. the rest of my game was an avarage of 12ish contact runs. some zoid set was awakened, and i had lots of fun shredding in a circle with the coolest people i know.

im pretty stoked for worlds, and im looking forward to it now that we have everything secured. before now i was just eh... its still so far away.

i have a few more bags to make, and after that, im out of bag requests. maybe if you want one for worlds, i can get those done soon. shoot me a pm to reserve one, or pay for in a few days/weeks.

so i guess we shred again tomorrow with lee, at 4. hopefully it will rain early in the morning or something, and not be so hot or sunny.

so i like these contests going on, and i want someone cool to earn a free footbag or something. ill try to dream up some contest for a footbag related thing. ill have a first and second place i think. something like unique footbag moves, but i gotta make some outlines. ill work on it later .

i suppose its getting late, and i still have to get in the hotub, and shower.

got stuff done today. made lunch AND dinner. homemade mexican pizza was rad.

shred was awesome! i havent footbagged with lee in a while. it was sweet. hit legover>legover quite a few times. mirage>ss mirage>rpt + legovers and mirages in one string of 7 or more contacts. hit a couple osii today too! also bsosed moshers tail but dropped the hand catch. bunches of butterflies too. and some clippers. tried pixies but they werent there today.
(edit: i suck at illusions but i tried)

banana shakes are awesome after a good shred.

secured some things for worlds today too

it was really humid though. so it didnt last long. we soon gave up and invited lee to come hang out at our house. swimming pool. hamburgers. wii. then i had to leave. brian is still gone... so i guess he took lee back to his car.

i hit a new link today...
butterfly>ss mirage
hit it a few times.

our room is a mess. fuck cleaning it up alone though.

yeah, way humid shred. i was dripping sweat the whole time. no cold water...

but i managed to hit pixie same bubba butterfly. or something to that extent.

no real good hilites other than that. strings were mostly tiltless with some 3s and 4s, and avarage was way down for contacts.

but holly is getting good fast! i bet she'll be bsosing some 3s very soon.

got some interest from lee to make another dime size footbag. that will be cool. i hope i can make a pretty one, now that i dont suck at stitching anymore.

well, guess im gonna straighten our room up.

Hey maybe that Pixie ss bubba butterfly was like, Wigglewalk? Was it Pixie Fairy style or other? Sick trick! Sick bags!

Sounds like it. There're some videos of John Mahood and Yves Kriel hitting this trick somewhere. Huge props, though -- that's really really big!! I think Yves named either one of the tricks, or one of the sets (fairy same quantum/pixie same atomic) 86, inspired by the Berlin crew "86" (named after their collective birth year...)

Erik, I don't think that is what he means.

I think he is describing it accurately, it's a pixie ss (downtime) illusioning butterfly. I have heard of people doing illusioning butterflies before, Ive never tried em but only because I never remember em when playing.

Cool trick Brian! 8)

Hey guys! WHY DON'T WE JUST TALK ABOUT THIS AT WORLD'S??? :P :P :D :D 8) 8)

Yeah it sounds like pixie downtime illusioning butterfly to me. STYLIE! You can kind of think of it as pixie rev dadacurve. Gray Chadwick (cammel) is pretty good at illusioning-butter / rev-dada. In this vid he goes for PS rev-dada at the end:
http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=16251

He did a bunch rev-dadas at MFJ this year. I've also seen him hit it symposium. Throwing a pixie in front is pretty slick. Props Brian.

Oh, I guess I wasn't paying attention. I've hit downtime legbeater before -- it's weird. I guess there isn't really a question of cleanliness for that move 'cause it would be way harder to the than wigglewalk, or whatever. Anyway, sorry for clogging your blog.

That's too bad about that humid weather... ¬______¬

i dont know about video, but i will def do my best to get it on tape.

ive been getting smoother with my yoyoing too, and ive started liking

iron whip
jadewhip
flops
hooks
1.5 suicide 2 dif ways
and lots of other suicides.

and i wish the mailman didnt hate me. ive had some packages never show up, so i really hope this new yoyo shows up soon. (euro 888-yyf)

i probably should shred and yo and tape today. holly has something to do, and i dont other than stitch.

so thats that. expect some clips tonight i guess.

so today i got to make a little yoyo video for everyone to see. i played footbag too, but i didnt get to record it, so no proof for those tricks.

Image

but heres my video. i might not post it on yoyo forums, because i suck, and its not really a great video. that being said, its great, and you should say why you do or dont like it so i become a better vid editor (not really, i dont give a fuck about videos, so just shut up and watch it) and become a better yoyo nerd.

i hit paste>paste on command today, and i had a nice tiltless run of like 20 contacts. other than that, i didnt do much.

except hit fairy same illusioning butter.

still no yoyo in the mail, and im working on orders when i can.

guess thats it.

That's cool stuff. The transition from trick to trick looked pretty smooth. I guess that's not what I picture when I think of yo.
