I used to be into Flatland Freestyle Skateboarding and I heard on the F-Forums a little rumor about Footbag & Flatland Freestyle being introduced into the X-Games/Gravity Games/Triple Crown within the next couple years.

I am a believer of this, as it seems Footbag is becomming very, very popular (I am basing this just on my local scene).

So my vote: Yes.

I do see Footbag at the X-Games.

I'm not sure I'm in any position to say whether it's true or not. but I see it as a distinct possibility, especially as the technical aspect of this sport becomes so ridiculously amazing that it could blow anyone's mind. the world will catch on in time

Oooh ooh hey, I forgot to post.

The X Games are going to be in LA! When they had em in Sydney they said some footbaggers went, but, no offence, they're not nearly as good as the Cali people. Is anyone gonna go to this? Sam, Chad, Fournier, Windsor, and Chris should go for sure, and if you can get Lon....this is a huge oppoutunity to let them see the sport better. People have to go!! I'm listening to the radio all the time trying to win the free tickets.

I voted Yes, though I am not sure.
Both BMX and Skateboard Flatland has a wider appeal to the puplic since 'It's amazing what they can do with those bikes/boards'.
I'm afraid that footbag is too 'advanced'. Even I can think it's hard to see what's going on when people shred hard, how would the puplic think?

I usually pay alot more attention to skaters and their moves then they pay me. Maybe a comment (Man, that's just wrong!

) but otherwise they loose interest.

Breakdance too? But neither are Xtreme Games...

I dont ghink so. Footbag was at the xgames sumthin or other a while back, and the organazation had no respect for it.

We shredded hard at X-Games in Philadelphia last summer and had a great time.. Elli, Kenny, Jonathan, Bevier... It was great. The crowds loved us and we had a demo spot next to the rock climbing wall.

(in other words, we had plenty of respect in my opinion)

Look at the part in bold. No offense Angelo, but I can't take your post seriously if you use "sumthin or other" to attempt to get your point across.

I think it could definitely be in. I was watching the X-Games, just last month, when it was in...I believe it was San Antonio/Whistler. It may or may not have been a re-run of a past X-Games.

What really caught my attention when I watched it was the BMX halfpipe. A lad managed to hit a "Tailwhip Flare", which was a trick that had never been hit before. The reaction of the other competitors was exactly as it would be if say...Sunil hit a Nemesis Swirl. Everyone was giving him high-fives and cheering. It was such an awesome sight; all the competitors joining together to celebrate an evolution, an advancement of the sport they love.

Man, I love that book. The series drags on for no real good reason, but the first book (and some of the others) is great.
