Club today was cool, sorry you missed it alex.

My highlights:
- ripwalk > ripwalk
- neck stall > handstand > toe stall > clipper > torque

Also, a picture from Saturday:
Image

A PS whirl attempt. didn't hit it but it makes a good picture. Note Steve's expression of pure bewilderment in the background.

And for those who have not been blessed with the privilege of visiting Steve's house on a weekly basis; that's his footbag room.

(also note the built in four square court)

Thats SWEET, awesome picture (yay max!). Also, those combos you described above were very cool in person. Do you guys want to kick tomorrow, as a little post-school celebration? :D

From yesterday:
spinning clipper>paradox mirage

Played today, here are the highlights:
-Pheonix>Paradox mirage
-12 guiltless (personal record)
-So close to torque :(

Nice phoenix>pdx mirage and guiltless string peter! Mudd, that's the weirdest combo I've heard in a while, gratz on hitting it!

I'd be down for some post-school shred tomorrow, just let me know the details.

Didn't shred today but I did complete my first 4-panel footbag :) It's bigger than I would have liked and some of the stitching is extremely sloppy, but for the first footbag I've ever stitched, I'd say it was decent. The true test is to see if it can last a few circle sessions with the guys at lunch.

Sweet tricks Peter, you'll get torque soon, it looked really gude yesterday.

Definitely some post-school year shred, but I might run late if people wanna go get food or something, you never know with them carlmoniters.

Alright I'm out for the night, see you guys tomorrow.

had some gude post-school year shred. nothing really cool to report except that my flip paradon and whirl feel better and I'm getting closer to pdx. whirl.

Also, Steve and I worked on my routine for worlds, which was tiring.

Hey people,
I'm finally 16! although I don't feel very different than I did yesterday.

Spent the bulk of this morning with Anna, who also got me a funkbag, I love funkbags :D I guess I'll never go without a damn good juicy footbag to shred with.

Now I'm looking for some shred time in front of my house, but this goddamn salesman is trying to sucker my mom into buying a new vacuum cleaner by giving us a demo and showing us how disgusting out carpets are. They are pretty disgusting, but who cares, we already have a vacuum cleaner! I'm gonna go kill this motherfucker.

Anyway, I'll post what I hit later, I plan to work on some stepping, and lots of guiltless moves.

Take care,
Jeff

16 woooooo. Now you can drive. Be sure to commit as many crimes as you want to before you're 18. Stoked you guys like my bags, thanks for your patronage! Keep shredding and try to make it to worlds if you can! :)

I noticed in that PS whirl photo your knee is pointing down, I think that technique is hard on the knees, be careful

-whirl (bs)/reverse whirl (bs)
-Illusion (bs)/paradox illusion (bs) Finally figured out flip illusions.
-DLO from toe (bs)/ from clipper (bs) :D :D :D :D :D
-spinning (bs)
-atomic sets "clicked" on both sides:
-legbeater (one side), but my flip is really close
-dyno (bs)
-from clipper: ducking butterfly (bs)/ducking osis (bs)
- legover>x17
-paradox whirl (one side) not close on flip yet :(

There may be more to come, but I doubt it.

after-first-day-of-work-for-the-summer session.

-footed flip legbeater
-blur bs, ripwalk bs, crispy DLO one side. stepping "clicked"ish, not entirely, but, you know, enough to notice it, ya know?
-parkwalk one side, never tried it before.
-whirls didnt feel right, couldnt really land em' :-(
-i landed 3 flip illusions **~~** not in a row, but any time I land illusions, let alone, flip Illusions, I'm very happy

ugh, i'm gonna go crash and watch the OC........don't judge me

edit: barrage one side. my right knee hurts though and I think it stems from the many barrage attempts.

Just went down to the garage for a midnight session. Hooked up the music and tried some mirages for a warm up. did about maybe a dozen sucessful tiltless tricks and then iced my shins for half an hour. Then I came back up here to post about how much i hate this sport.

EDIT:
Ok I over-reacted a little bit. I don't hate the sport, it just causes great amounts of pain to me. After some research, I've become pretty confident that I'm suffering from Chronic Compartment Syndrome, an excercise induced condition that is characterized by recurring pain. Symptoms subside when the offending activity (in this case footbagging) is stopped, but return when the activity is resumed.

My problem cannot be described any more specifically, and so I assume this must be the problem. Unfortunetely, the only practical solution is surgery... :(

I'm scheduling an appointment with my doctor asap, so wish me luck!
