I think making 1 or 2 extra accounts with different email addresses might be ok. The problem with making a large number of accounts is the people who run famecast have access to all the IP addresses and have all the vote history at their disposal. It is definitely possible to get disqualified.
However, famecast encourages members of the same family to vote. This of course can mean the same IP address used without any problem. I'd say up to 4 accounts from the same address would be alright, as there are some big families out there. But approaching like, 10 accounts from the same location would be a very bad thing.
If you're going to make (an) extra account(s) (which I have no control over, and neither encourage nor discourage), DON'T use your real name as part of your username more than once! Also, generic e-mail addresses would be more advisable (NOT your_name_1,2,3 etc.).
It is an interesting point to bring up. If in doubt, please play it safe. If you want to make an account for your friend that is unable to vote for the vid, then that seems perfectly acceptable.

Eeek! I take back what I said. Please read this paragraph from the Terms and Conditions of Famecast:
You may establish only one account per person, and up to two accounts per computer or address, to participate in the activities offered on the Site. FameCast reserves the right to monitor any effort to establish multiple accounts. In the event FameCast discovers that you have opened more than one account per person, all additional accounts will be closed without notice and continued violation will result in the termination of any and all of your accounts. FameCast also reserves the right to deny access to anyone, including, but not limited to those players who use proxy servers and/or IP addresses residing in certain geographical areas outside of the U.S.
FameCast reserves the right to terminate any portion of the Site at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, even though termination may affect your ability to participate in Contests.
So no. Don't do it please!! Thanks for bringing it up. Instead, get all your friends to vote. No need right away, but when it gets to the 25 --> 10 round on June 21st I will need all the help I can get.

So the more "watered down" they think the votes are the less they will likely count it towards your total votes.
