Hi Everybody,
Well I moved into my new place over the weekend. It has a spare bedroom and an office that can sleep people as well if need be. So people are welcome to come to stay at my place in Austin and shred with our small crew. Southwest flies to Austin, so you can usually get some pretty cheap tickets if you book in advance.
There are a lot of great events and festivals in Austin all the time that would be a good excuse to make it down here for (in addition to playing footbag of course!) It's part of what makes this city so great to live in and probably part of the reason it was voted the coolest city in America in 2006.
South By Southwest (March each year) . A week long music/film/art festival that takes places all over town. HUNDREDS of artists and bands from all over the WORLD come to play here. There is literally no way you can go to everything. Tens of thousands of people come to town for this thing. Stay with me and you'll have a spot to park, a place to sleep and you can take the bus into downtown to avoid the traffic. Highly recommended event.

Austin Reggae Festival (April each year). A huge outdoor 2-day giant reggae concert and festival. This event is AWESOME. Hack circles frickin everywhere!! Cheap too, admission is only $10 per day plus a food donation to the local foodbank.

Eeyore's Birthday (end of April each year) . Free festival with live music, good food and lots of hack circles!

Republic of Texas Motorcycle rally (June each year) . If you are into motorcycles, you will be in hog heaven.

Austin City Limits (ACL) concert (September each year) This thing is HUGE! So big in fact that I never go cause it's so crowded and expensive, but a lot of people like it. Tons of bands, usually a few big name acts too.

The San Marcos Chilympiad (Septermber each year) is supposedly pretty badass. The biggest chili contest in the world

Austin Film Festival. (October each year) Don't know too much about this one, but it's pretty big

Also: plenty of places to hike and swim. Tons of disc-golf courses if that is your thing. Lots of great places to catch live music. And of course
shred-outside weather all year 'round! Plus much more.
Basic guidelines:
1) Email/PM me in advance. Give me some notice. The Iron Clad Hotel may book up, we are planning to have more than just footbag guests.
2)
NO DRUGS. I don't care if you do them back home that's your business, but no drugs at my place.
