Bag Loss

Post by Guest_1 »

How do you refrain from losing your bags? It's a pain in the ass to stitch one, and promptly lose it a week later. I had to finish stitching a bag in spanish today so Jason and I would have a bag for shred.

What habits have you gotten into to prevent bag loss?

I always keep my footbags in my front-left pocket. If I ever get up and don't feel the weight of my footbags in that pocket, I know that something has gone terribly awry. I don't think I've ever lost a bag that I didn't find again soon... I can imagine that it would really suck though.

ive lost one bag... only to find it washed, and still in the pocket it was in. (folded and placed in my dresser drawers...)

i dont know. im lucky i dont lose them. i keep them in my pocket usually, then when i start work, i put them in my backpack (manpurse) and zip it up. they dont get lost or stolen if they arent in view and are secured.

so just dont carry 50 at once, and remember to check before you leave if you still have x# of footbags. or leave em at home if you know you will be too busy for them today.

I also always carry any bags that are with me around in my back pack zipped up in an inside compartment. I haven't lost one yet. They would fall out of my pockets way too easy.

I always leave my footbags in my purse with all my other valuables, which virtually never leaves my side. I've only ever lost a mr. sandbag, which I didn't get too upset over.

Easy. Every time I shred I bring my backpack. In the front pocket goes the bag. I play alone so nobody else touches it. After the shred, I put it back. Very routine. I rarely carry my bag around in my pocket or play barefoot/socks, so that helps. My bag contains lead so I don't like touching it, so that prevents fidgeting with it.

Ever lose all of your bags? :D I keep mine in a drawer, said drawer was emptied and all of the contents moved. I was not informed of where, and no-one's home to tell me.

For some reason I've never lost a bag. I usually have maybe 2 bags on me. Yesterday I was shredding out a school parking lot... then we played from ultimate frisbee in a field and i thought i lost my Clavens bag. Turns out it was in my car cup holder under a deck of cards.

I put footbags in a number of compartments, like an eyeglass case, small little travel baggies for toothbrush/paste/whatever, and pockets in my backpack and manpurse. I'm pretty organized on where all my footbags are, but I'm not attached or anything.

I can always stitch a footbag for myself, and I never get bored in doing it. I just get MAJOR arthritis pains (especially now for some reason).
