Sticky bag after wash

My mom got this new organic soap.
After I used it to wash one of my Josh raye bags the bag was sticky on the inside.
I made sure to wash the bag until the water ran clear and then some more rinsing and massaging, but it seems like theres some oily/soapy residue stuck on the inside panels of the bag.
Now whenever I squeeeeeeeze the bag when its dry it sticks together in the same shape of my hand.
It never stays round anymore when you kick it, and the lead and beads stick to the inside of the bag's panels when you squeeze the bag.

Somebody please help me save my Josh raye bag

Wash it with a detergent (shampoo or clothes detergent) with warm water, massage it twice for 2 minutes each time. If the stickiness is still there, soak it in vinegar or alcohol diluted 50/50 for 5 or 10 minutes, then wash it again, if its still there, then I don't know what to do. Ive been in the same situation...

i just used era active stainfighter laundry detergent and I think it removed the oil mixed with lead layer on the inside of the bag.
It feels like the detergent worked but we'll have to see after the bag dries.

Lead oftentimes reacts to some chemicals in soaps during wash. I know that I've met someone in footbag that had a Lesh footbag, filled with lead, and it became completely pilled and sticky after several washes.

I use treseme shampoo and conditioner on my bags. It works wonders, cleans, leaves'm smelling good and makes them super soft.

I think Im gonna get some of that shampoo you speak of Sanuke.
I dont know about the conditioner though.
I think conditioner is one of those things that reacts with the lead to make the bag sticky.
Its happened to one of my friend's bags.

i use dove soap or dial soap in bar form.

the only thing weird ive ever had happen was from zest bar soap, it left a grey filmy coat on the footbag, which did wash off.

axe body wash works okay, and its really good to get white white again. smells nice. i sometimes use garnier conditioner if a bag needs some breaking in.

its just too sad for me to see footbags be all nasty and dirty. its like theyre bums hanging out in my pockets asking for change to get beer. i need that change damnit.

but you dont need any certain wash product. they all do the same thing, only i think bar soap reduces how much you have to palm the bag, and just gets soap all over the panels. which i think might be better for bag life, but idk. just an idea.

i think dove and dial(with aloe vera) bar soap is fantastic.
Its what I used to use after I ran out of it and used that organic shit.

I already have axe shower gell but I didnt know it was good for cleaning footbags. Im gonna try it on one of my white bags.

Ill try that lavender soap next Pete.
What's the name of it?

So now I guess Im gonna go on a shampoo run tommorow.

the blue axe shower gel works.... but the kind in the black bottles doesnt.

most of the time i finish footbags at school... so i use the soap in the dispensers in the restrooms. that stuff is pretty good.

once i got a bag from someone in a trade and i washed it... and it got all sticky too. but i found out that the bag had real seeds inside.

ok so its johnsons baby shampoo, and the particular "flavor" i have is lavender. it looks like this:

and yes, thats what i look like first thing in the morning.

Pete, your webcam pics are reversed so that when you do teleconference, it's a mirror image of yourself so not to confuse yourself when trying to position yourself in the center.

You can fix it in the options section of your webcam software by removing mirror image for stills.

As for the sticky bag, I had to handle a bag like that today. I don't like using lead anymore for this reason. Baby shampoo or baby wash works for me too. I just get generic house brand J&J rip off since it's all the same. The sticky stuff came out with some dish detergent and a few good rinses.

I think this happens with machine washed bags sometimes because detergent doesn't get all the way washed out and sticks to the lead dust and allows it to accumulate.

Amarretta bags should be hand washed and should avoid being tossed in the machine. Especially yellow.
