Not that I should complain or anything, since I'm really hard on myself sometimes as well. But climbing trees is seriously fun! (I can't climb up on a tree without firm branches, though...)

thats actually a little funny! (not being sarcastic) most of your jokes are definitely not my type of humor, not that there's anything wrong with that (i hate how i cant say that without thinking of a certain long-running sitcom), but that was more my type of humor.

in other news, that bug is a lot smaller than i figured it was based on the first picture. that must be a pretty quality camera you used.

Its actually just a 4 megapixel fujifilm, it suits my purposes, but I would prefer to have a nice digital slr

But Wasabi said it all. Don't be so hard on yourself. If you don't respect who you are, how can you expect anyone to respect who you are?

Edit: Not to rip on your camera, or your pictures (Because they are pretty good pictures.), but they weren't really in that great of focus. I mean, good pictures, but I don't see the quality Pete's describing.

all i know is if i took a picture of a bug that fucking small with my camera it would look like a spot of period blood, not a fucking strawberry.

lol, period blood. Ha ha. I use a 7.2 mega pixel Sony DSC-P200. I'm no fan of Sony, but it was my "best buy" at the time. I'd rather have this.

But I'm so not ready to take out a loan for a camera. I'll just stick to my Sony, till it breaks... Because it will, because it's Sony. Either way, I'll never have the camera I want. It's too expensive.

Its not like I have a super good macro lense, its pretty damn good though for 100 dollars

nah, definitely not an ant. it's got yellow stripes and a brown body, different legs, longer feelers.

Actually I don't think it's an ant. Ants typically have two segments to their antenna. That appears to only have one. It's hard to tell from the photo. Does it have wings? Also how long is the middle segment? From the photo the insect looks like some form of apocrita (wasps, ants and bees), however if it doesn't have wings, has a single segmented antenna and what appears to be a long thorax, I think it must be something else.

I found a weird bug the other day at the creek... Once I get the software for my new camera on the computer I'll load up the movie we got of it.

Friend didn't know how to work my camera very well... Dunno why I didn't just get pictures..
