I know you young footbaggers have strong legs and good stamina, but that's just ridiculous. 8O

Sorry, that made me look more hardcore than I really am. I meant I stood up all night until like 10am>fall asleep until 2pm>rpt

If I could never sleep, I would. Such a waste of time. :D

So Shredmonton time is soon. I have been in talks with a couple of friends and we might drive out to Edmonton from here in Spokane. Nothing is for sure, but everyday we get a little more organized so it looks like it mighthappen. It would be my best friend Tim's girlfriend Amanda and another girl named Sam. Basically girls that don't play footbag and just want to experience Canada and a footbag jam. They're pretty cool chicks.

But yeah, hopefully I can get some solid plans here soon since it's pretty close to happening already. I should have plenty of money either way that I get there.

Played a little foozbang for like 10 minutes yesterday in big shorts.

3 gyro clips
ducking clip>spinning ducking clip
infinity>gyro mirage>dyno one side, other side otter'd (hope to rpt)
gyro whirl bs, first try

Just got done with a long solo sesh. New stuff.

muted pixie clip>merkon>rpt
infinity>spinning butter>rpt
crowley special bs
toe ducking ss clip>infinity>p mirage>diving clip>infinity>p mirage>ducking clip (I can only duck one way)
pdx whirl>torque (challenge for last weekend)

I basically just worked on spinning out of all sorts of butters (toe ss/op, infinity etc.) for most of the time. Best solo sesh in quite a while. Stroked.

And as for Shredmonton, I'm almost sure that I'm driving up with my friend Amanda. Almost sure. 8)

Haven't been kicking as much as I normally do. But when I do kick, i've been drilling gyro illusions. Such a fun trick

So I have 3 jobs at the campus library and I'll be starting a 4th job tonight which consists of custodial work at a private school. It's not something I want to do, but it pays around $20/hour and that moolah will come in handy for worlds

A co-worker told me of a gnarly piece of info. If you have a bowel obstruction, it's possible for the fecal matter to work its way up into your stomach where you will them puke it out 8O :?

So it's my day off here in McCall, ID. I'm going to start drinking here pretty soon. I figured I had better post on this here footblog thingy before I do so.

I've been building fence in eastern Washington for the past two weeks. That pretty much sucked ass. I was nowhere near Spokane, but I was in the city that Seattle sends its garbage too. Pretty sweet eh? Now that that is over, I'm going to be backcountry for two weeks on the Payette National Forest North of McCall. I just hung out with my friend Emily from school. I'd really like to get with this girl, but I dated her friend Jenny last year, so I guess that means its off limits (to them anyway  ).

I footbag every once in a while for the people on my session. They think it's pretty impressive. Everyone always tells me to do the food processor, but most of the time my legs are too tired to do so and they get disappointed. One of my crew-members is named Brian, so I nicknamed him bsos. The name stuck, but it turned into butter-sauce and then just butt sauce. I feel bad for the guy 'cause he's overweight. I'm trying to teach some of my people to footbag. Two of them can toe-stall now, which I'm stoked about.

I'm jealous of the Shredmonton sessions going down this weekend. I really wish I could be there, but the backcountry calls. I'm bringing some footbags with me.

I'm home safe and sound from ShrEdmonton. Yet another awesome time in Canadialand. I didn't play as well as I wanted to but had fun just bopping it up. Byrin hit 5 7's in his sick 1. the last one went up but was unsealed 8O You'll see it when the videos come out. i'll do a write-up later

Hit some stuff:

-shattered my old alternating consecutive osis record of 87 with 222 :o
-backside fury *new trick*
-mobius>voodoo
-spinning voodoo
-gyro mirage>torque>rpt>string
-janiwalker>blurriest
-bsos spin duck legover
-voodoo>inspinning osis
-spin duck osis>vortex>string

Inspired by Eric Chan:
-far rev whirl *new trick*
-blurry rev whirl bs *new trick*
-spinning rev whirl *new trick*
-reverse whirlygig b2b *new trick* my first time hitting either one, so was super stoked to get it b2b for both firsts

Inspired by Adam Greenwood:
-cat walk *new trick* (pixie, spinning, gyro)

I love Erik Chan. Meeting you made me remember why I started playing. Makes me want to start playing more again. :D

I love everyone, basically. Shredmonton was fun as hell. Except I treated my body like shit by staying up for like 40 hours from Thursday>Saturday early morning getting drunk, smoking lots of ciggs, and shredding for 7 hours.

Epic times. Too many to discuss, really. Props to everyone for everything.

Started writing a small piano piece. I randomly sat down at the keyboard and this tune came into my head. So I attempted to develop it for an hour, sounds sweet so far.

So, I'm starting to save some money Kevin. I'll probably have like $1000 in August. SCHWOOT!

ShrEdmonton--

Thursday:
Woke up at around six in the morning with some Yerba Mate and the movie Captain Ron. Kyle and Zeb came at around 10:30 am and off we were. The mapquest route was kind of janky because the road we were going to take was seasonally closed. A gas station shred session went down and then we had to take a detour through the blackfoot reservation which tacked 3 extra hours onto our trip.

Upon arrival at the border, the car search began. I thought that it was going to take no time at all but they found a lighter in my backpack w/ resin on the bottom. Didn't even know that was in there. It went from one person searching our car to about four people searching. Zeb's laptop was then taken into custody to be searched for restricted materials. All in all 2 hours was spent in customs but we got a little bit of shred in during that time. One of the border patrol men told us that if we are going to do a sport, we should take it outside. We were so stoked that he called it a sport that we ended up just sitting down and waiting.

We arrived in Edmonton at Byrin and Kevin's but neither one was home. Zeb and Kyle spent about 20 hours on the road 8O Kevin eventually came home from the show he was at and was feeling a little bit drunk. Rory came over and we had a kitchen shred session. I hit voodoo>inspinning osis and almost crapped my pants.

Eventually James, Mario, and Amanda showed up and Mario immediately went to bed. James, Amanda and I had an all nighter drinking and talking about our family lives. It was pretty awesome. When morning came we drove around Edmonton shouting "THE STATES!!" at passers by. We made our way to the West Edmonton Mall for some food and then wandered off to jam on one of the Stores keyboards. James was laying down drum lines and I was playing some chord progressions. It was super fun. But then the guy kicked us out saying that the neighbors were complaining, which they didn't, but whatever.

To be continued...
