The Sims

Post by BenRea »

i actually need some help finding a way to get the sims onto my computer without having it.

i had the original CD at one point but i lost it and i want the game again because my girlfriend wants me to try a new version but i need the original game to install it.

i tried a few torrents but they were either corrupt or didnt work. i got close with one but i downloaded daemon tools to use as an emulator but that gave me a virus.

anyone have an easy solution?

Get a job and buy the game.

But seriously, an original copy of The Sims on Amazon.com will run you 2 whole dollars. Even if you're looking for The Sims 2 it's still only a measly 19 bucks. My take on downloading games is this: if you can't buy it, download it. For instance, if I wanted to play Ultima 2, I'd have two choices, either brush the dust off the floppies I have in my drawer here, or download it. If I lost my copy, I could maybe find it in some obscure PC gaming store that keeps all of their old stock, but that's less than likely, so I'd probably end up trying to fish it out of The Underdogs. The Sims, on the other hand, is released by a company that's still putting out games, and although that company may have millions upon millions of dollars, the programmers and testers that put their lives into these games do not. So, hop on a bus, or your bike, hit up the game store and fork out the 5 bucks or 20 bucks that it costs to buy the game. It's not much, and you'll be making some poor nerd somewhere a little richer.

You want me to mail you it? Chances are that i'm never going to play it again.

I don't know if it's too scratched up or not. haven't played it in years.
