Clinical Short-Term Memory Loss

Anyone know anything on this subject?

I was hanging out with a new friend and she informed me that she has clinical short-term memory loss. Now i'm intrigued.

Tried wikipedia but found fairly irrelevant info. and google didn't help much either

crazy... turns out she was in a horrible car wreck as a youth and spent 2 months in a coma which caused the memory loss
