Buffalo, NY - Thursday in the Square EVERY WEEK

Hey kickers,

there is a hot hacky sack scene in Buffalo, NY every thursday all summer long at their Thursday in the Square concert series. Along with all our favorite buffalo free-hackers that you know and love from the east coast tournament scene, there's lots of straight up circle kickers.

tomorrow night: Umphrey's McGee!! They are an awesome hardcore jam jazz fusion kind of thing, I can't wait to see them. it was a huge surprise to see that on the schedule last night. other highlights for me will be THE VIOLENT FEMMES!!, Moe., Nickel Creek, John Butler Trio, Keller Williams, and guitar genius Charlie Hunter!! this summer is going to be insane for free concerts in Buffalo.

I know for sure that Jack Lentz and Co will be there kicking with me tomorrow. I'd love to see some rochester people make it out. Not sure who else would be into it, but the scene is hot to make some new kicking friends and show people what freestyle is all about. I'll be getting there at around late afternoon / early evening. The kicking spot is behind the stage, across the trolley tracks.

I know I'll be in Buffalo for a few of the concerts, I'm not sure which ones yet. The only one I know for sure if the Dropkick Murphys on Sept. 20. If anyone from Rochester's going tomorrow and wants to give me a ride...

Wow, thursday was good good fun! I couldn't believe all the hackers there! I thought we were really well received, and i was glad to meet some kids that are kind of beginning freestylers. This is going to be a great place for the footbag scene. Big thanks to Jack Lentz for getting me into it. I'm looking forward to the rest of the thursday sessions this summer. Check back for more info...

Well, we've been going every week since that first post I made. Jack and Dan and I plus whoever comes from rochester plus about 80-100 hackers will be there kicking it up tonight behind the stage to the sounds of THE VIOLENT FEMMES!!!!! that's gonna be the shit. hope some people can make it out.

i wish buffalo was a little closer.

i wish i had a GPS navigator.

i wish mapquest would go to hell.

i wish i could make it one week.

i wish i could build up the confidence to make a drive that long.

i wish i could say i could make it one week but i dont think i will.

Ben, why don't you just come up w/ Pat sometime?... If Pat comes up again, Idk if last week was a one time deal or sumthin... either way you should both come out to Buffalo or just to Rochester for some RFA shred sometime.
