The contest won't be quite fair, though. People will get their books at different times, and we need to take time zones into account. People on the east coast will have a few hours head start (I'm not sure when it's being released elsewhere in the world).

thats a good point jeff... another thing i was thinking was, other than the honor system how do we know who actually finishes the book first... some things to think about if we are gonna do a contest...

lol, time zones won't matter too much. It's gonna be a huge book.

If you don't get your book on the first day you're a loser anyways. :P

And if you cheat at a book reading competition you are a complete moron.

Maybe whoever finishes reading it first could pm the ending to someone who isn't reading it?

I've waited 6 books for Harry to finish the deal with Hermoine and tap that mudblood ass. I don't know if I have the gusto to read the 7th book just so he can pansy out again when the winter ball comes around.

... Wow dude. Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliff in a sex scene... They'd have to replace Daniel Radcliff most definitely. But Emma Watson's becoming pretty damn attractive.

Don't get your hopes up  ...Hermione will fall in love with Ron (that's obvious isn't it ?) I'd like to see how Ginny looks in the 5th/6th movie though..in the books "she is too popular for her own good" or something like that and she has to be some beauty when all the guys fancy her ;)

I hope Ron dies... I can't stand that kid that plays him in the movies. Puberty beat that child silly with an ugly stick, and his facial expressions make me think his character is mentally ill, and his voice cracking makes him sound very prepubescent.

Die Ron, DIE!!!

You need to get a hardcover Chamber of Secrets; it just looks bad being the only paper back.

Is that a book on spiders to the right?

I have a hardcover Chamber of Secrets downstairs.

The book to the right is "Anatomy for the Artist"

There's lots of shouting in that one.

What books are everyone's favorite and least favorite?

Personally, I like Goblet of Fire the best, and Order of the Phoenix the least.

Half Blood Prince the most, Sorcerer's Stone the least (just seems to be more childish than the other books).
