Yes there are.
We have a small club here in Somerville, NJ. In the summer months we meet and kick every Friday evening at the Classic Car Show on Main Street in Somerville. We play on the west end of Main St., near the intersection of Main and Doughty Ave, in front of the Country Fresh Kitchen. Its pretty fun - a thousand people walk around looking at old Corvettes and Cobras. This weekend somebody brought out their Volkswagen Thing.
I am also trying to get the other club members to join me kicking it at the Free Summer Concert series in Duke Island Park in Raritan, NJ, just five minutes from the Somerville location. The free concerts in the park are every Sunday evening from about 7:00 pm till a little after dark. I typically get going by about 6:00 pm. Some of the shows are even pretty good. Last night the band played mostly old Rhythm & Blues and Soul Music classics by the likes of Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett, with some good old funk thrown in, though I'd swear they didn't really know the words to Lady Marmalade. Well, the French worlds, anyway... Despite that small problem, it was much better stuff over-all than I had anticipated. Its not always fun stuff like that.
Both of these regular events are out-doors, and thus subject to weather conditions. That is, if its raining, we ain't playing.
You should contact us in advance to see if we'll be there on any given weekend, as we are sometimes out of town for some other footbag event. Send me a PM for more info.

Word, so it looks like im gonna be goin down to NJ next weekend for several days. First were gonna stop at Fairfield (Essex County, i assume) for a day and then we're gonna head down to Forked River for a couple days after, and I was wondering if anyone nearby would like to kick?
I noticed Outsider said he and his crew kick in Somerville and it looks like thats about an hour away from Forked River. If anyone around Forked River would like to play please pm me, or just post here or something. I'd like to go out to Somerville, my only fear is that I'd get lost and then Im kinda screwed.
