Beginner's Hit List

Post by CautionFragile »

Hi errrrrbody.
So I just started shredding not long ago when I met a mister Tom Mosher :D Well I had actually already been exposed, but was just getting started. I actually got my Laver's the day I met him!!
So ya, I wanted to set myself up with a daily 'hitlist' because consistency is important to me. This is what it looks like so far (I'm currently shooting for 5 hits each on both sides, not consec yet though :? ):
Clipper, Legover, Pickup, Butterfly, Butterfly from same side toe, Mirage, Same side Mirage, A.T.W. both directions.
Good Side tricks: Clipper to pick up,
Clipper far legover
Clipper to Flapper
Flipside tricks: Clipper to Guay.
I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me :)

Yay footblog. :-)

Here are some good ones:
 Clipper set Mirage aka near mirage (CLIP SET > OP IN [DEX] > OP TOE [DEL])
This one is a hugely important building block for bigger concepts, like drifters, DLOs and torques. Also once you figure out, you will find that it's actually easier than toe set mirage
 Consecutive clippers!! Hit 10 first each side, then start going for 20
 Legover > Mirage > Repeat, as many contacts as possible. This drill switches sides every two contacts, so it's great practice for both concepts.

Shred on, you are in good hands with his Moshiness
