good after-work sesh up at steve's.

-double switchover, one side. flip is really hard.
-butterfly>pdx.Mirage>rpt. 17 contacts, new record.
-DATW both ways and footed flip!!!! :D finally flip DATW feels right, ya know?
-a few long strings, which is my new goal for the next month or so.
-DLO bsos, both from toe
-sidewalk bs

shred feels good lately, tricks wise, ya know? not string length wise, ya know? i want to hit a really long string with some 4 adds or hard tricks, consistently. i've never hit a string of more than 15 contacts with 2 or 3 4 add tricks. so that's what im gonna work on until i can do it consistently :D

I also enjoyed that session yesterday. Didn't do anything too remarkable though. Managed to hit ripwalk > ripwalk again, and I'm still trying to hit blur bsos. I footed the 2nd blur like 3 times, but it just doesn't stick. My stepping is improving a lot, and that's one of my main goals for the next month or so. I'll also be honing some more 3 add tricks, as well as spinning stuff. String length is also in need of improvment so I'm right there with you alex. I'm hoping to see you guys later tonight for a midnight sess or something.

Shred yesterday at Mudd's was decent, I wasn't very happy with it, but shred is fun, none the less.

-far dyno
-a couple good strings, not consistently though
-DATW both ways before I arrived at Mudd's, not on flip yet (stupid left leg)

I think I'm going to start drilling basics with leg weights and going through the motion of double dexes with them too as an attempt to become faster. We'll see if it works :)

Took a much needed day off of work (lol, i've only been working there for like 5 days) and shredded for most of the day while watching the end of the 1st season of the OC and the first disc of the second season. It's driving me crazy seeing Summer and Seth apart, they belong together, but Summer has a point. Seth did turn her down for Anna, but Seth then left Anna for Summer, so he chose Summer over Anna in the end anyways. Of course Seth shouldn't have sailed to Portland leaving Summer only a note, ass. And now that he's back, he just expects her to fall back into his arms, there's no way. Marissa and Ryan are still annoying. Why wouldn't Marissa just tell him about DJ the yard boy? It didn't make any sense the way she hid it from him when he came back, Its not like they're together. OOO and also, Ryan left Teresa because she told him that she "lost" the baby!!!WHICH was a lie!!!! if he finds out, he's gonna flip. But I can understand why Teresa would do something like that. He's too young to be trying to support her and the baby. He's much happier this way. So anyways, my mom wants to watch a movie with my brother and I now that we're all together again  Whatever. Father's Day sucked, I didn't even get to spend it with my Dad because he wasn't "well-enough" to take us to his house or even hang with my brother and I *caugh*drunk*caugh*

As for shred, I feel ok about how it went.

-(clipper)ducking butterfly bsos and B2B
-better string length, improvement always feels nice
-spinning is getting better, I managed to land a few spinning clippers today, bs.

Now that I've rambled, I guess I must go watch that movie.

Thanks for the OC update Alex.

Well I saw the doctor on Tuesday... bad news. Some kind of stress thing could develop into a stress fracture over the next few months. My doctor told me not to play for 6-8 weeks, and to take lots of pills and ice my shins daily. I'm going in for an MRI on Friday, but if the diagnosis was correct, that will put me out of worlds this year. Really sucks.

I won't really post... having nothing to post about. but good luck guys.

Great shred today at Steve's.

-long guiltless strings and longer strings, in general.
-torque, one side
-DLO>Butterfly>Whirl, bs (a challenge from Chang)
-Whirl>Drifter, one side
-Whirl bsos
-DLO bsos
-Ducking Pdx. Mirage bsos
-reverse swirl, one side. just sort of made sense today.
-flip dimwalk, my flip pixies are coming along quite well. slow, but well.
-Smear>dimwalk>so on and so on. one side, first time.
-ducking clipper>x4

I'm starting this new shred "schedule". I'm only going to shred Saturday, Tuesday, and (optional)Thursday, while continuing to use leg weights for dexes.

After shred, we all had orgasms over steve's pizza......literally.

Would someone let me know about the next few sessions at Steve's? I can't do Tues. at Stanford but weekends are looking okay for me for a while. It'd be fun to kick with you guys again. :-)

It's been a while since I've posted here, but today's session was too good to overlook. Higlights included:

-Dimwalk>pdx mirage>rpt. :) ... 'bout time.
-Merkon BSOS :o
-Fear (apparently I can do fairy) one side
-DATW & Dimwalk>Crispy DLO BSOS, same run :D :D :D
-Symp. mirage>symp. pixie>rpt.
-Butterfly>Infinity>Infinity>Pdx Mirage>Symp. Mirage>rpt.
-Very close to drifter b2b
-Ripwalk x3
-A pretty long tiltless run for my standards, which felt good.

Won't be making it to Steve's or Stanford for about a week.

Just got back yesterday from san diego and shredded for 90 minutes or so and felt pretty good throughout.

-Stepping "clicked" sort of, on both sides. hit ripwalk bsos 3 times and blur>butter>infinity>blur and flip blur twice.
-legbeater, strong side. sooo close to footing atomsmasher, strong side and legbeater, flip side.
-diving whirl

looking forward to club tomorrow.

Wow, its been a while since anyone has posted in here :(

Shredded up at Steve's with Peter and Nate yesterday. Nate was crazy, it was awesome.

highlights from my game:
-i can do stepping better than before

that's about it.

 There should be a salute emoticon, ya know? an emoticon that salutes, but i guess that wouldn't be considered and "emoti"con because of the whole emotion part of the word. Whatever, it'd be cool if there were such a thing.

club pretty much fell apart today :( I couldnt get a ride down like i had wanted to so i played for like 2 hours to cope with the pain of not going to footbag club. I felt really good.

Highlights:
-loong guiltless runs. i drilled osis all day. it's amazing how much your string length will improve when you can bail to an osis
-ducking clippers>x4
-in one run crispy DLO bs, stepping bubba bs, parkwalk midstring, ripwalk one side with lots of 3 adds and toe>clipper bails
-23 contacts of butter>bubba>butter>far legover>rpt.
-infinity>x18

pumped on footbag right now

I think I've recovered from my injury, enough to play at least. It hasn't hurted at all excluding a minor pain in my left tibia after a few ripped warriar attempts today.

Club today was fun, highlight was back to back to back (that's 3) ripwalks, starting on my bad side, also hit blur BSOS, which i'm no longer able to impress myself with. Abram gave me a lesson on pixies, which i practiced mildly.

Later at the Goldberg residence, during a post-pizza shred, I finally managed to hit paradon. Completely downtime, but the trick nonetheless. I have some trouble doing the dexes midtime because the "hop" messes with my timing, I'll learn it eventually though.

Just had a midnight session for about an hour and a half. Worked my pixies mainly, I'm trying to do it evenly but flipside is so frustraiting. My good side is coming along nicely, and my flipside isn't doing that bad. Didn't really manage to hit a pixie trick, but didn't really try either, strictly drills. Also did a bunch of spinning clippers. Practically doubled my hit rate on my good side, and my flipside sets are really nice, just having trouble with the catch.

good to hear ur playing again mudd.

Havnt really posted in a while so i'll give an update on my game. I suck.

-osis is improving. its all i work on. osis>osis>infinity>rpt osis>infinity>infinity>rpt. that stuff, lots of it.
-i am trying to play guiltless, which isnt that hard, just more tiring.
-i havnt practiced at all for my worlds routine except a bit, but not at all like dustin has.
