I just ordered a 3" acrylic ball and an instructional book. Anybody here into it? Any tips for a beginner?

No idea, but will it break if your drop it? Do you have to make sure you begin by playing low to the ground and on a padded surface?
I totally don't know how to play, but I will totally be willing to make the trip out to your area and learn...or screw around with them
They seem sooo cool

So totally awesome to watch when people do it well. I met a guy in Brisbane who was really into contact juggling and he had a plastic "training" ball for practicing difficult new moves.
