There's not a trolly, there's a shuttle bus, but it doesn't go from point A to point B. It goes to another park first. Takes like 40 minutes or so to get from the site to the hotel. Perhaps the stupidest thing ever.

You can easily walk from one point to the other, but it'll take a while. The path from the site to the hotel is just on main roads (see the map on the Worlds homepage which hopefully will be up today; watch for an announcement after you've joined (see below)).

Note: if you try to walk the "direct" route, you go through alligator-infested swamp land and across a big highway. Not recommended. :-)

If you guys actually read the information we post on footbag.org you'd know all this. Whoever's not on the footbag.org announcements list should be. To do so, go to http://www.footbag.org/members/editprofile and check the checkbox "keep me informed...".

Also, this is a reminder, that only about 5 people seem to have followed up on the information in the post I referred everyone to last week. People NEED to focus and understand these details -- anyone under 18 needs parents' signature well in advance (please go read the post).

And anyone who plans to attend Worlds needs to pre-register, even if you're just going to watch.

Don't mess this up, folks. Time is running out.

Why not pre-register now and get it over with? http://www.footbag.org/registration/register/1163784775

What is everyone waiting for?

i see i can register for womens open singles freestyle and womens open shred 30... but no sick1 or sick3. is registration for that event included in singles freestyle (which i understand is routines) or will there be another class for this added later or what? i dont really care if im in womens or intermediate or open... id just like to compete in one of these events.

I don't remember the last time I ever heard of a women's sick 3/1 at worlds.

I'm sure there will be some comps that the players themselves will make just out of sheer fun. That's just from my experience from previous tournaments, but I'm not too sure about the experience from a World's competition. It'll be a week, so there's going to be a bunch of time. :)

I recently found out I throw killer left handed frisbee. Hopefully it will translate into water balloons.

Question:
What is the maximum time for a routine at worlds for women? Is it different than open?

Ok, just a double check for all the things we need to do for worlds...

Get There.
Register for the event.
Find transportation to and from the disney complex.
Get a place to sleep.
Budget for food / whatever.
Get back.

Are there any other important things I am missing? Should I be registering before I leave?

I figure this post could also be a small checklist for everyone else stopping by this thread.
