USA is just coverring it's ass. If the movie tanks at the box office or causes blindness - Transformers will just get a straight-to-DVD release over here.

I can still remember 20 years ago my friend and I being pulled out of the theatre by my friend's mom who freaked out because the cartoon Transformers movie from the 1980s was "too violent".

Pretty stoked about the new one.

It's getting good reviews from everywhere. I'm more than pumped to see this flick. I don't like that Megatron looks like shit though. I watched the other movie so many times as a kid. Probably where I got my taste for metal. This is one my favorite scenes.

Edit: I apparently don't know how to embed youtube videos.

I'm trying really hard to not get excited for this movie. I know if I get excited I'll be disappointed... just like when I loved Will Smith movies so much then saw Wild Wild West.:cry::cry:

I don't think it's possible not to be disappointed with a movie like Wild Wild West, no matter how low your expectations are.

It was a fairly good watch, but it was so fucking lame in some parts. Parts where a female expert in computers uses words like 'firewall' and 'virus' to sound like a leet haxor are just gay. it just makes her sound like a nub.

really corny lines such as 'you're a soldier now' and 'there is more than meets the eye' send me rofling, although i doubt that that was the intention.

oh yeah and the chick who was pro at cars was just plain funny when she looks under the hood.

Seeing this tomorrow at 8 pm. Early release at our theater. Isn't it supposed to come out Tuesday? lol. It's gonna kick so much ass. I could cream myself every time I see a commercial.

Parts of it were awesome - but most of it was crap. The awesome bits make it worth watching and ther rest is a mix of "so bad that they're good bits" and straight bad bits.
There were continuity errors, constant camera movement, and little effort to make it coherent. The trade off's made against the original weren't adequately compensated for, in my opinion. I've heard Micheal Bay justifies the numerous changes he makes in order to make the Transforming robots more realistic - i.e not wanting to make small things suddenly transform into large things - yet throughout the film the Transformers change thier size between scenes. One secend they're huge, the next their just a couple of stories tall. And then there's the cube. Also making Bumblebee a hot rod and the little bumblebee-like car some new Transformer character, and then not having Hot Rod in the movie makes no sense, and really bothered me.
Kids will love it so I'm sure Hasbro is happy but to me it's called "Transformers" not "Dickhead humans" I wanted a movie about transformers, not, well, you get the idea.

You like it that much too?

God damn.. anyone else jizz a little when the weapon specialist robot did that front flip while dodging rockets? I know I did.

Movie makes me want to spend $6000 on a Boes home theater just for this one movie...

All of the scenes where a transformer went from robot to vehicle while moving was insane. I really liked the first one, when teh cop car bot dive forwards and just *mechanical noise* and he's a cop car flyin' down the street... A the fighter jet and helicopter ones... oh, so bad ass.

Easily my favorite movie of all time. I saw it twice within 12 hours of eachother. Wanna see it again too...

Oh, and you know Mountain Dew paid OUT THE ASS to be put in the film like that.
