hah! Two pages started by Holly, 21 must be your lucky number! (there are 20 posts per page, to make that statement make sense)

It's now 4:30AM, I went to bed at 10 PM which was like.. 24 hours of being awake and on my feet traveling.

I think my body is a little confused.

Oooh! I am gonna go get my camera and then load up some cool pictures from my trip... and then talk about them too!

Wait, poo time first.

Okay, I uploaded all the good pics to .org, I am now considering maybe getting some more rest.

Here is a crazy picture that I will explain later.

I will leave it at "German Beer Crate Climbing":

I now have official confirmation, Tom Mosher is indeed as cool as advertised. I just played on his back porch for a few hours, and had alot of fun watching all the amazing stuff he can hit.

Now for mosher, instead of the viewers...

Thanks! I didn't realize I would be out of your house that soon, so a few things I'd like to ask,

Where can I get filler here in Canada?
When would you like to organize a massive shred? And Jorden shred?
I want to do something nice for Peng for making me such an awesome bag, do you want to organize some big thing where we all meet her in Markam(sp)?

Hope to see you soon, with more symposium elements. My barflies are going to be SO much deeper thanks to you!

Jesus, I learned so much from you today.

Woo! I am on a footbag marathon!

Darn, I thought I was gonna have the motivation to type it all but alas now isn't the time.

Here are a couple highlights:

- pixie paradon and pixie dod both bs in os a few times
- pixie paradon>pdx egg rpt first try

Hmm.. I swear I've done other stuff lately. For sure though, I am playing at the highest level I've ever been at!

I still havn't heard anything from Adidas, fingers crossed!

My family watches too much TV, I think they are way fatter than they'd otherwise be. :(

I didn't mention all the shreds in my so-called marathon, here they are:

- Germany trip, I played more days than I didn't play
- Half a day after I returned home I was shredding with Jay Boychuck, Skippy and Chad
(Jay seems like a real good kid who is off to a great start, he is welcome back any time)
(Not to say skippy and chad suck, but I had already met them and invited them back to my house)
- Shred with Pengpeng in Markham the next day, I love seeing my little baby doing tricks!
- Shred with FAT at the base of the CN tower two days ago

So it's 6:30 AM, I am up because my parents are leaving for a two week vacation and I have to drive them to Buffalo where they are starting their journey. This alerted me to a certain reality... Buffalo is quite close to Fredonia where Matt Cross lives... hehe So while I was pondering this Matt sent me a message on MSN, I feel the need to take that as a sign.

It's my plan to drive my parents and then pop over to Fredonia to visit matt at his school. The only hitch is that I/we sorta fear leaving my sister on her own, it sucks having a sibling you can't trust. I just want to go hack with a legendary hackmaster!

I guess in the next hour or so I will find out if I get to go or not.

Oh yeah, and a few days ago I finally found the perfect routine song, you're all fucked now!

I really feel like the right song can make a huge difference, that said, I think most people pick really stupid music.

I don't think it is impossible for me to reach the top 10 this year, fuck it, I want this!

Make it to finals for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would make me happy, being that it sucks that I don't have the money to go...Well, that and the fact that I know you can do it.

hey tom it's jp,

awesome picture, it reminds me the challenges we had on the 1st of july last year in my first visit to ottawa on my own. What a good time we had.Everybody but me is going to worlds, well at least I'm gonna be having fun in australia at that time.

on a footbag note,i started playing footbag last week after 7 months without playing, my skills are coming back. I love that feeling, muscle memory is awesome. I just feel more tired than usual. But tomorrow instead of going to a job interview, I'm gonna be playing with the best australian footbag player in my opinion, alex uranos and jeremy are pretty good, but dan ednie has skills. And he's gonna make me a training program, and I think we'll shred heaps before he leaves for worlds.

have fun my friend, I'll see you in a few years or 1 and a half.

TJ - you will be missed for sure. You were one of my favourite things about World's in Frankfurt! I guess this means I will have to come visit you in Japan!

JP - I am glad the sack has returned to your life! I heard that at Aus Nats your mosher was a popular choice. We will go on another mystical journey someday, thanks for staying in touch.

I am really torn about the MTV show thing. I think it's kinda obvious that I'd make the best candidate for the show... but frankly I don't want stupid cameras following me around fucking up my privacy. What if I need to just pop off to rip back a few bowls? "Uhhh... I just have to go pee... Dont follow me!!!" What if Pengpeng and I are feeling frisky? "Uhhhh... we just have to go pee... Don't follow us!!!"

Anyways, I think that the show will have about the same impact on the rest of the world with or without me. Also, any show about footbag and the people involved will wind up including me as I am in basically every plotline and wrapped up with most shredders.

All I have to say is... this is myyyyyyy uuuuunited states of WHATEVER!!!

Whoever gets the gig better do a good job though. The control freak in me is having alot of trouble give this up.

Also, I think that the show would be way way way better if they followed the paths of multiple freestylers through the event, as no one player fully embodies all that we do. Well... except for me... and I only say that because I am a cocky dick.

In case anyone is wondering who that "Paul Cronjaeger" dude is that just posted in my blog, here is an accurate picture of him:

Image

Here is the sick whip I got to slash around on while I was in Berlin, it's a German track bike:

Image

Thanks Rene!!!

Oh man, this picture is golden. Jakob Wagner and I played lots of Jenga while I was there, this was a crazy variation we came up with. This was at the end of playing the variation, once there were no more pieces we could take out and put on the top without removing a critical support.

Special features of note in this picture:
- my sketchy bong that I made so that I could get high while the others smoked their super tobacco "joints"
- the big plastic bag in my pocket that was actually my weed baggy for a very small amount, SO practical!
- my outfit is really gay

Here is a picture of half of me:

More stuff later.

I just went outside and hammered in all the nails in the deck, I want optimum shredability!

Tonight there is our weekly 905 shred meeting at my house. I am gonna go set up the net court on the grass!

I really like my new footbag club, I loved the KFM and all that, I mean it was my baby, but poppa's got a new baby and it needs nurturing.

I wanna do roll spikes tonight! :)

Here is one more good picture. I snapped this shortly after having arrived in Herzogenaurach, the tiny town where Adidas is headquartered. Like.. 30 minutes after taking this picture I crushingly discovered I had no place to stay, at least it was pretty!

Image

Also, these shoes were around the city in various places. Just my size!

Image

This is a picture that was taken after the Adidas interns had me show off some footbag for them. The most important intern in the shot is of course Wolfgang (Didi) Dittrich, he is the guy to my left and the reason I had this giant opportunity. Perhaps some day I will have alot to thank him for.

Image

I meant to only post one more picture, but here is a fourth, it's Mathias Lino-Schmidt juggling on the slackline. I intend on continuing my love affair with slackline, I can finally sorta do it!

Image

Matt had a cool idea that he should host the MTV show thingy and then interview important/interesting people. I think that's a better idea than just following one dude. We're all so interesting and diverse! :)

whooooo, pictures of people i like. nice. ^^ looks like fun. i dig the "bong" you build, i need to find the pic of the bong me and a buddy built, it looked like it, but was way bigger. ^^ we had a 2liter bottle! :P

whatever you do, have fun with it :)

ps: the mtv thing sounds cool, they should make this show, and just run after you, and then you say "go talk to that guy, he´s cool" and stuff, meanwhile you could go "pee". i would deffenatly watch this show. :D

Paul wasn't so happy that I posted an ugly picture of him, so here is one of him looking dashing with Mathias gazing:

Image

Here is a great picture of Tim Heun, I stayed at his house last year when I was in Berlin for the footbag summer camp. It would be totally impossible to ever fully describe Tim! I am really fortunate to have him as a friend though, he is one of the only people ever that I have trouble keeping up with!

He's a big fucking bear of a great guy. :)
