Ill be drinking most of the day and eating tons of yummy free food at my friend EJ's house, followed by sitting on a beach where thousands of miscreants will be launching illegal fireworks within only a few hundred feet of me.
My name: Jeremy Mirken, AKA Chocolatey Shatner, AKA jerk enemy rim.
I kick it with trunk chef elf and liz luck key my.

i did family bullshit and it sucked. i didnt drink at all, i didnt smoke at all. i didnt hang out with my friends aka the people that are actually important to me, fireworks are illegal in MA and i dont have the motivation to go get any, its raining so the city wont even be firing them off.
but you know what? im glad. know why? because everything up there is bullshit. i love america and thats a helluva lot closer to what today is about than BBQs, beer, and fireworks. not that an ideal fourth wouldnt include as many of all of those as possible, but its important to remember the important stuff. go america! thanks for starting the thread max, im always really glad when people from different countries from my own show so much courtesy to mine.
anyway, im rambling. and believe it or not, im not drunk or high.

=) My 4th of July was great.
Woke up after my buddy's going away party, went to work, got off, and napped until 7ish. Went back to my buddy's house to have a few last drinks with him, told him I'd see him off tomorrow morning, then watched the (quite boring) fireworks with my gf, and a couple other people. La la la. Relaxing day. I got "happy time" after the fireworks
, then we hung out with friends at a BBQ out in the country, bone fire and launching bottle rockets at eachother. We're not too interested in paying out the ass for illegal fireworks, so we just shoot bottle rockets at eachother, lol.
Oh, my buddy (John) ships out tomorrow morning at 8 for 16 months, so yeah, (silently) wish him luck.

I was totally over fireworks until I spent the 4th in Santa Cruz.
I played doubles beer chess
where you and your partner can't give suggestions about what to move or not move. It was great because it was a pro/newb team against a pro/newb team. It turned out to be pretty fun. After that we walked to the beach where people were already shooting off fireworks.

We were in Capitola and could see fireworks well into Monterey county. The displays are better than any city fireworks ever, and being on the beach while they're being set off is amazing. People call where we were "the war zone" because it sounds just like background noise in war movies and there are things exploding around you everywhere. Awesome.

I drank too much IPAs at my 4th of July party. I vomited 2-3 times. I feel pretty ashamed since I showed a disgusting trait to a close friend of mine. Oh well. It was raining, so I have to agree with Pete that I felt pretty depressed during the entire time. I was also in a foreign crowd, which I didn't know anyone. I was the only footbagger there, so I was clearly bored to hell.
Toke, drink, toke, drink, drink, yaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkk
I left my umbrella at the party place, so I had to walk home in the freezing cold rain during after hours. I took a long hot bath after coming home drenched and smelling of vomit.
I mean, it was alright overall. I'm only saddened that I vomitted over on my Nintendo Footbag tee that Mike Faille exclusively made for some footbaggers here on modified.
Go America!
