How Long do I ice my knees for and how long, how many times a day?
Whats the best anti-inflamitory(motrin,advil,ect.)
What are the best streches to do? How long do I hold them for?

Did a quick wikipedia search.
Wikipedia wrote:tendons and ligaments are very slow to heal if injured, and rarely regain their original strength.

Recurrence of injury in the damaged region of tendon is common.
It also said that tendonitis is not necessarily an inflammation of a tendon, I didn't completely understand it, but apparently anti-inflammatory drugs may be of no use.

I feel really bad for you man, this has got to suck. :(

I have been suffering from sever tendonitis and arthritis for yrs now, and same for my younger sister :( . We got it from our mom, yay
Anyway, umm, I hate to say it dude, but this shit's a fuckin lifer. My sister has been going to physiotherapy for like 2 yrs now, and she still has it.
And trust me I know how frustrating it is :? . Everything you do becomes a chore, but you just gotta push through it man. I suggest taking anti-inflamatories, and getting a good wrist brace if its in your arms. And take up yoga man, yoga journal online has some great stretching tips for all kinds of problems.
And if you get any good info on this, PLEASE PLEASE help me out, I'm a musician and this shit makes it so painful to play my guitar

Tendontis is a crap diagnosis. Thats a catch all term for joint pain. If its really bothering you even though you take it easy then you need at least another diagnosis, from some sports specialist. BTW I have tendonitis all over, my shoulders, knees, and etc in the future. It means you have limits but its no major deal.

Injuries major suck, but usually the body has a way to get better. I've had shin splints forever now and even me playing means I'll hurt tomorrow. But its so worth it.

I have an addiction, it seems. I know what I'm doing is unhealthy but I just need to play. Maybe if you take off a week or 2, do some stretches and take some medicine you'll be better.

On days when I hurt I'll take it easy. I'll practice my flipside atw's and datw's. These don't really hurt me, and I'm still satisfied because I know I bettered my atws.
