the a2 planet graffiti guide and www.puregraffiti.com which taylor mentioned are great sites. probably the best forums i would recommend would be www.bombingscience.com and www.12ozprophet.com

graffiti is truly an amazing form of art. you are really creating something rather than destroying.

oh and for you guys just starting out, sketch first. do simple letters LIKE THE ONES I AM TYPING. also if you want to practice painting find chill spots at first. like someone mentioned under bridges a few posts back, those are good places to practice during the day. also train yards are pretty chill depending on their location and size, but i would'nt recommend hitting freights until you are confident with your letter structure. also i dont know if this has mentioned this yet but, DONT GET CAUGHT. peace to everyone.

if you want to practice without worry of being caught, your best bet is to get a very large roll of paper and an easel.

also, if you live in a city, there is likely a place you can go and spray legally, here in rochester there is an entire industrial complex that the owner allows artists to go wild on, ill go down there and take some pictures sometime soon
