That tip about not jumping really helped pat, i just have to remember that every time i do atomics. i got a lot more fluent in them and a bigger percentage of them were good, high sets. i actually tried ducking one...
maybe in a few more months. but my legbeaters feel a lot more flowy and relaxed. thats really the only atomic move i see myself doing in a string right now because if i di atomsmasher it would end up on my toe and at this point i have no chance of doing pixie after atomic. and reactor is just another rev whirl move that i struggle to do anything creative out of. its always hand catch or far clipper and for some reason i always miss the far clipper. then i hit myself on the head. that reminds me though. i was messing around with blurry rev whirls (stepping far rev whirl...WHATEVER.) and i noticed i have a much harder time catch the bag when im NOT doing stepping symp rev whirl and pogo rev whirl. it seems to contact my foot earlier so it doesnt have as hard an inpact. what does that mean i have to do wtih my regular rev whirls?? hmmm. i tried a few flipside rev whrils yesterday again and i really really want to be able to do them so i can do shit like blurry rev whirl b2b. but i just cant seem to get it. learning flipside is always different from the first time you hit it strong side so its hard to aply the techniques i used to hit it for flipside. my major problem with it is it wont hit my foot...yeah...thats a large problem. i feel like im so close though but i can tell im not doing the small 'hop' that is needed. the magick hop rather. its just too awkward on my flipside. i think the best way to fix that is just to do it on my strong side the think about what exactly i just did and then try it on my flipside. somehow that always helps. especially invisioning moves. i can always hit them when i pretend to see myself hitting it. it makes a lot of sense once i can see myself do it. im thinking about working a little bit on my 'strong' side atomic which really is the shitty one. that seems to be the same with stepping set. i hit ripped warrior using my flip stepping. i think it mainly has to do with the dexing leg being my stronger leg in both stepping and atomic. i dont really see atomic taking me anywhere close to where stepping took me as of now because its very hard to aply those moves to a string when the only move i have that ends on my left toe is legover or pickup and those are just shitty. maybe if i did a blur too on that side but even if it did end up on my weekside (good side) atomic i dont think i would be able to manage it. what im saying is i dont think its going to be a huge factor in my game right now. i feel like i should learn it and drill it untill ive got it down, then push it to the side and continue learning other things. im sure new sets will dawn from this one, thats why im going to drill it. its kinda like each set you learn gives birth to another. toe set is the mother of pixie and fairy, clipper is the mother of stepping. get it? heh, im pretty crative, i know. no nead for aplause. maybe atomic will give birth to nuclear? but somehow i dont really want to try to learn that. i would much rather be doing whirls bsos than anything nuclear. ok, i think thats enough for todays thoughts. bye bye.

I'd much rather see you doing whirls bsos than nuclear as well.

Hey Ben. Sorry can't play today. It's hot and my friend and I bought a tiny pool that needs to be played with. Get well with the finger. I remember a video Andrew Grant made a looooong time ago and he broke or had a gash somewhere on him and he had workers comp and put out a video called "What to do when on worker's comp" . . pretty sick video, too. I can remember him shredding in his basement in really close quarters.
I loved the playing footbag in the rain video, by the way. Hilarious. Oh. um.
. Right. I thought your bag was going to break or something. I'm glad you just went berserker and fell. Osis > reverse whirl? it looked like you could've jumped over the bag with a rev whirl dex and then dexed behind you again with the other leg like a behind-the-back whirling direction. At least that was what I thought you were going to do.
I'll call you tomorrow.

It's not paradox.
Stepping (1 add) Miraging (1 add) Reverse Whirling (1 add [2 adds if symp]) Clipper (2 adds)
So a max of 6.
Reverse Whirls don't get Xdex.
Cool move though, if you can hit it.
