Inheritance trilogy

For those of you who don't know the trilogy by it's proper name, these are the books written by Christopher Paolini I.E Eragon, Eldest. I loved these books, I was home sick one day and mum brought me in some books, after I picked up this book I didn't put it down until I had finished it. Nothing like neglecting everything in life just to read a book. Anywhom....This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. A welcome reprieve from the overly stuffed fantasy genre.

When Eldest came out, I made sure to have to book asap. 1 week before it was supposed to be released actually

. I loved the book...Didn't like the ending, so I've been impatiently waiting for the third and final book to come out. However during this wait I had the 'privilege' to see the release of the movie for the first book. I didn't have high hopes for this movie, and I did well not to; I nearly cried because of just how much liberty the director took with raping this wonderful book into an Ã¼ber-condensed, pg rated sack of shit. Hopefully they don't plan on making the second and third books into movies.

Thanks to myspace and facebook, I've managed to totally disassociate myself with everybody I know who don't read books. Life's too short to hang around stupid people.

I only read the first one. I liked it until i ran into the like, 3 chapters in the middle where they were running through the mountains eternally. it might not have been that long, but thats how I remember it, so I haven't read the others. Dude can't pull off making nothing into an interesting story like tolkien did.

If you say so. I think tolkien gets much more credit than what's due. And because of it think that any high-fantasy book is a rip of him.

Nothing like writing sheer nonsense for three books and hoping that people will give a shit.
