AHHH!!! *Runs and hides* That movie's worse than "death by powerpoint!" That's the most drug out, boring, quiet, dull, lame, shittiest movie I have EVER seen, EVER.Jeremy wrote:That's a great opinion...Matt K wrote:Apparently Transformers is the most original movie of the year. I heard that Citizen Kane is the greatest movie ever. I haven't seen it, but I'm sure Transformers is better <_<
...
EVER!!!
Second runner up, is "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf." That's right up there next to Citizen Kane, but Kane still worse, but only slightly. Those two films should be destroyed, and all traces of them burned, then eaten by boars, kill the bores, burn them, then put them in a capsule, and dropped off in the ocean, miles below sea level.

I'm definately a brain-turner-off-er person
. I'm such a sucker for bad sci-fi and action movies. The movie would have to be exeptionally terrible for me to really hate it. Terminator 3, Daredevil & Reign of Fire are examples of my shit list. The only way to salvage the situation is if you're with the right people group of people and you can have a good time tearing the movie apart.
Back to the movie itself, I'm glad Peter Cullen was Prime's voice. It gave me goosebumps.

Funny movie titles if the movie were about poop:
Red
Fast & the Furious
The Green Mile
Children of the Corn
There Will be Blood

Sure, well many people regard Citizen Kane as the greatest movie ever, and I'm sure you'll find it in the top 5 of any top list of movies. I have actually seen it, my statement was an ironic attempt at expressing how silly the statement was, that somebody disagreed that it was the most original film of the year, but hadn't actually seen the movie. If you haven't seen something, don't form an opinion on it!Switch Kicker wrote:AHHH!!! *Runs and hides* That movie's worse than "death by powerpoint!" I expect that Citizen Kane was too intellectual for you.
Citizen Kane is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It made me change my stage name to Rosebud and I took up sledding for weeks.
Let me start with the visuals in transformers. The girl in the movie is so blazing I wanted to pull a Pee Wee Herman in that theater. But, I held myself back (not literally) and watched the movie. My thoughts are mixed. I don't really have any love for the robot kind, and I've never really heard of anyone but Optimus Prime. I had a transformer toy I got at a flea market when I was 7. That was my extent of knowledge going into this movie. Oh, and that the kid Sam whatever is from Even Stevens a popular Disney Channel show during my youth.
So, I guess I liked it, but I didn't love it. It wasn't confusing, but the 6 year old sitting next to me had no clue what was going on. I felt sorry for him during the masturbating conversation. I didn't mean to be a jerk off but a 6 year old shouldn't cum to a movie that handles such a hard topic as masturbating. Quite a bust.
Anyway, it was ok, but not worth the 9 bucks. It was too long of a movie. Half the time I thought I was watching commercials for cars and electronic gear. I thought the British chick was stupid and I don't know why some kid who plays Dance Dance knew anything about hacking codes. I also thought the robots didn't die easily enough.

Funny guy. No, I don't like it because it's long, and boring, two things that shouldn't mix. I know full well that it's regarded as one of the best movies ever made, but you can make a movie of a scientist sitting there, explaining the true meaning of the universe, but it'd still be a shitty, long, boring movie.Jeremy wrote:[I expect that Citizen Kane was too intellectual for you.

About the product tie-ins, this movie was a fucking goldmine. The cars aside, building the plot of a Collectibles franchise around eBay takes serious balls, but they managed to make it funnier than it was offensive. ARE YOU eBAY USERNAME LADIESMAN271!?!?!?
People see the movie, they buy / sell old transformers shit, eBay wins. People watch the boom in collectibles transactions and decide they gotta invest in the current generation of toys, Hasbro wins.

Watched it a second time. It rocked my world, again. There is nothing I disliked about this movie. Even the analysts (which were clearly unneccessary) didn't bother me because Anthony Anderson is da shit, and the Auzzie was a fucking babe, too bad she was wearing too many clothes throughout the movie.
And seriously, how can you complain about a movie that has MEGAN FOX in it.
I'd like to see a porno movie called 'Megan Fox does the transformers'
Ok maybe not.
If you can't sit there and enjoy the humour in a movie than for shame I say!
You guys are almost as bad as movie critics themselves!
ROBOTS IN DISGUISE MOTHERFUCKERS!!! Like shit, you think it's just a car, but then WAMMO! It's a guns blazing alien robot that will tear you a new one. All that's missing is zombies and pirates....and boobs....
This was also my first exposure to transformers (aside from beast wars) and now I want to get all the episodes, the old movie, the toys and transform everything!
YES I AM A CORPORATE SLAVE! HAVE MY MONEY HASBRO!!! YOU HAVE SOMETHING I WANT!
chumps!

In my opinion, it's pretty irresponsible for a parent to take their children to see a movie that is given a rating that means; "Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13."david wrote: So, I guess I liked it, but I didn't love it. I feel sorry for your future kids if anyone's ever stupid enough to have some with you.Jeremy wrote:In my opinion, it's pretty irresponsible for a parent to take their children to see a movie that is given a rating that means; "Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13."david wrote: So, I guess I liked it, but I didn't love it.
