if anyone is trying to sell their ps2

Post by david »

ill take it if you want to sell it for cheap.

(ok ok i know this isnt like a for sale forum but i just want to play guitar hero so bad it hurts. and i dont want to spend 80 on a frikken used ps2 that little billy probably spilled kool-aid on and then sold back to the store you know? and i would trust a hacky player (unless its like, someone creepy) so if you have a ps2 you dont want i will work something out with you. ill even cuddle. if the mods dont like this thread well, fine, take it down.)

thanks

well if you want to get your fix in the meanwhile, check out Guitar Hero PC Clone

I think it's just as fun with the keyboard as it is with the guitar. You can download songs that people made or even make them up yourself with the freetar editor. All the info is here

Dude, brand new PS2s are currently $109 in Australia. That would be $94 USD. Don't pay more than $50 USD for a second hand PS2 or you're being robbed.

PS2s are glitchy as it is. I wouldn't trust a second-hand PS2.
I am INCREDIBLY careful with EVERYTHING and my PS2 has trouble loading discs half the time... (I've had it since Christmas, brand-new, thin model)

(I was even ESPECIALLY careful with my PS2, because I had heard from many people, before I owned one, that they are glitchy and really sensative.)

EDIT: Mine is modded, so that may have to do with it, but everyone I know with one, even unmodded, has said that they are really... You know.

I've had my PS2 for 5 years now (one of the nice old fat ones), and the only problem I've had is in God of War 2 the game wouldn't load an area (though I did exchange it, it could have been a problem with the disc.)

I just may be willing to part with mine for a footbag or two maybe. PM me so we can try to work something out

Me and Dave have already worked out a deal, just so you guys know...

Unless he passes on it, but I think we're both fairly interested.

And Erik, the thin models really aren't as good as the bigger ones, everyone has problems with them. My sister's disc tray fell out. It was weird.
