Welcome guys! Always great to see some new shredders :P Are any of you going to make it to worlds this year? Tennessee isn't too far from Florida...

Kind of non-sequitir here but... this kind of reminds me of the phenomenon of when they found the Etheopian Jews. They found Jews in Etheopia who were black. It was the first time they'd ever found black Jews who weren't converts. They had the exact same Torah (bible) and everything with only 4 letters different in their entire thing. That's kind of what this is like. This totally undiscovered group of guys doing the exact same stuff we all do but a little differently.

Some pretty sweet 1-off tricks in there. I agree, hunching = bad! Keep that back straight. If you watch videos of the big guys like Ales or Byrin you will notice their back is 100% straight all the time.

Only other piece of advice would be to dump the 1-add bails (toe bails and such), especially on the guy who can definitely do tiltless/guiltless already.

Keep it up guys! Hope to see more from y'all. Welcome again :P

I dont think theyre that tall, just really swole.

anyways, that was a good vid to show what you guys are capable of. Some pretty hard tricks in there, just eliminate those toe stalls and drill everything both sides. It also looked like you guys were using a 4 panel? Maybe buy a 32 panel from Brian or Holly. Bags make a difference.

Keep shredding.

DUDE WHAT!? Jason Mann is shredding in Tenessee now!? Thats awesome! My jaw totally dropped when I saw his name pop up in the video, I haven't heard from him in a few years.

Tell him whats up from James in Eugene! He used to live here and shred with us. He actually taught me my first legover and was the first person I ever saw play footbag. Nice red lavers!

Good video, nice to know you all have such a large crew!

Hi and bags.

Post by BrianP »

Hey everyone, I'm Brian, one of the knoxville footbag folks. I've been playing on and off (mostly off) since 01 or 02 due to the fact that I could never find anyone else to shred with. Thanks to the KFA that has been taken care of, and I have been shredding a couple times a week for a couple months now. Which brings me to bags: I need one soon, my old bags, a juice and a wilson, are wrecked. I noticed that the Nashville group makes bags and I was wondering how much they are and how quick I could one could make it to the Knoxville area. Thanks, and I hope to shred with some of you soon.
Today is what you make it. So, like, don't screw up the recipe. ^^

hey knoxville brian!

the nashville brigade includes me, lee, brian, and josh (although he is in the airforce). it is my understanding that the nashville group is making the trip to knoxville the weekend after worlds (i think saturday, august 25th). the people who i know are going are me, brian d, lee, chris and his friend (ddriving here from huntsville and riding with us to knoxville). brian and i can have some bags made for anyone in the knoxville group (we might get a few made, we might only have a couple... we hope to sell out at worlds).

if the knoxville group has a meeting anytime soon, ask the members if anyone wants a holly or brinard bag... then PM me and let me know how many. if they do, then we can make a bunch and bring them with us.

make sure your club knows we are coming down. im not sure what time... but have someone contact me and ill give them my number or something.

anyway, shred hard! see you soon!

ps. oh ya, they are normally $30 but we can lower the price since youre a tennessee club.

Great! I'll let everyone know and make sure they'll be around to shred when you are all visiting. I'll also find out how many bags we need and let you know so you'll both have time to make them. Thanks again!

KNOXVILLE FOOTBAGGERS

HOW ABOUT A KNOXVILLE JAM?!?

a one day event... im thinking october 27th (the last saturday of october) but if you have better ideas, let me know.

the reason why we need it planned so far ahead of time is so brian and i can have some footbags made for you.

talk to your club about this asap. and post it in the journeys to tourneys thread in case any out-of-staters want to go.
