Brisbane was fantastic, I'm now staying in northern NSW. I've decided to try and work on getting a better toe game, like really put some effort into it. Ultimatley I'm going to need to drill flip quantum and atomic, they just seem to be falling behind. Brisbane has given me some motivation to try and train harder, now I need to follow through and put in the hours.

playing in shoes has been interesting, been doing some more clippers than usual, triple dex is extremely annoying. Hit some new clipper stuff: quantum rev whirl and whirl>infinity>rpt.

had a great day today, did some busking at Byron bay, it was at one of the weekend markets so there was penty of people and lots of live music. My game was going well today, oddly pixie was a bit off, but everything else was really on. Did some good uns surface stuff for the audience, also dod swirl was quite consistent today, though people who haven't seen footbag before find a neck stall > blind pincher more impressive than something like dod swirl. Had heaps of fun just playing again in a great atmosphere with great weather.

Played a bit recently, mostly worked clipper form and toe stall form because high impact/multi-dex tricks are giving me trouble. Clipper ducking/diving is a bit better, diving is feeling much better. Flipdide datw is slowly getting better, like I could always hit it, but the form wasn't the best but it was hindering me on flip triple pixie/tatw/etc. .
Also hit clip set rev whirl>rev swirl, it made me very happy, rev swirl is definatley a feel good trick. Even though many people would find it extremely easy that's the best clipper trick I've linked out of rev whirl.

Long shred today with Dan Ednie and Daniel Boyle. Got some solid tips for spinning from Dan, going to do more spinning. Did some osis tricks and torques, did a barroque, but judging by the reaction it was probably horrendously "the". Tried some atomic moves today, legbeater felt good and managed to hit atomic op rev whirl on the first attempt ever. Also phasing same reverse whirl, the best 3 dex trick I've ever hit. After the other guys had left I worked on going long and did some pixie same clippers. Hit a new drill, pixie sameside clipper> near dlo> repeat .

got some solid pdx whirl tips from Dan, ended up hitting a pdx whirl from right clipper(first time, yay!), then footed b2b a few moments later. Also hit a good blurry whirl from left clipper.

Today I was getting ready to do a filming session, had a slightly sore knee so wasn't intending to play. So I make my way into the city and go to federation square, at first I didn't see anyone and being a wet day I assumed people would be at the undercover spot. Upon arriving I notice nobody is there, so I make a few calls and find out nobody is coming, wtf.

Really pissed off, I get told there is going to be a weekend session and then get a message saying a Saturday session, so I come along. I can only take it on face value that there will be a session when I get told there is one, fuck, if you message someone and say there is a session at least message the person back if you aren't going to turn up to the session. The thing that pissed me off though was that I was going to film other people, not shred myself, now I'm just pissed off, in future you guys can film youselves.

sorry to hear that happen Janis, i understand why our pissed off, i would be to especially when you were being selfless and not going to play but just film.

i was never told that there wasn't going to be a session, but i said i couldn't come early on so there was no point telling me.

anyways thanks for that footage you posted earlier in your blog of me and the other guys, helped me look at my toe set tricks and see where i'm going wrong, any chance you could pm/email my clippers that were on film so i can see how to fix them?

I decided to have a session, channeled the anger and energy into footbag and managed to get some good runs. I'll post the video later.
