Hey all,

Just finished processing all the videos for the 2007 US Open. Here are the links;

Unfortunately youtube kicked out the Circle video due to it's time length, but you can still download it at the Sole Purpose site. Thanks to all the people involved. Enjoy!
Red

-also, anyone who wants to put Circle up on a faster download connection please feel free, it is about 14 minutes long

Thanks so much for this Red, it's good to see all the footage, and I can't believe all the stuff I missed.

Wow great videos! Thanks Red.

Now that I've seen the sick 1 video I understand about the triple atw but I still think that nuke op s. whirl should have been ranked higher :)

There were some very nice runs in Circle too as opposed to "lets just go really long and not risk a drop with hard tricks / links"

One last comment: the lighting you had for this video wa incredible it really stands out. Props

Thanks to Red for getting all these vids up. The circle video is sick! I thought it had a good variety of shred in it.

Thanks for putting these up Red. I haven't watched Circle yet, it's next up, but everything else was cool to watch.

I can't help but wonder why Nick didn't take Big Trick. No offense to Mr. Orton, but there's no way that Surge, that Blender, or that seal were rank 1 material.

Sick Trick

Post by bustinjustin »

Bens trick was still the best in my opinion, it looked even better on film than when I was there. So, Huge!
Oh, and a little insider info, they didn't count x-dex so Nick's trick wasn't seen as a 7 add and wasn't counted with the other 7's.

I agree'd from the moment I hit it, in fact, ask Red, when I walked up there to claim my thing I said "What about Nick?"

So was it like, if it wasnt a 7 add it wasnt considered? I thought Adds would be like, the lowest consideration in a competition about 'sickness'...

Wow, great editing, a usual for Red. I liked the filiming too, which I believe as done mostly by our own member Nate. Good times at the US open, there was even some stuff that I don't remember seeing, so it was great when I saw something new and was like "Damn, (insert name here) did that, and I missed it?" But at least I got to see it evenetually. At ny rate, the videos were amazing, and thanks for getting them out so quickly.

Hey all,
We had a few stations covering the event this year, here is one of the newscasts. Thankfully it's a pretty detailed report. Enjoy!

That was an awesome news report, probably the best ever. I love that they have the inventor and the legend in there and there is a lot of footage of Daryl. Really cool thanks for posting.

Only had time to watch the circle one, but wanted to say thanks for making and posting these so quickly; it looked like a fun event. Penske was going off in circle!
