I didn't make any attempt to explain how it relates to America. I don't understand your question. Why would I have proof for something I haven't tried to state?

Do you have proof that I have a bottle of Pepsi on my desk?

thats what i was meaning to ask you if you had anything to back it up... sorry for the confusion.

Well I recall it being an American awards night but it's quite possible I'm wrong. Regardless, my point still stands.

I see one!

political correctness pisses me off. so do lawsuits. I saw an article in the newspaper the other day for the "Black Music Awards" and got angry.

^Right There^
I'm pretty sure you understood my point but to clarify, it was the double standard pissing me off not the awards (of which I couldn't care less).
You respond to a hissy fit by chucking your own hissy fit?
I'm allowed. Most people have hissy fits on occasion, it's called an 'emotional reaction'. My point was that I'm sick of people chucking hissy fits cause they're self-important and how dare they say that about my race! Half the time it's probably just confusion arising from different upbringing's and cultures anyway.

You know you don't have to be such an ass, don't you?

I'm gonna put a disclaimer here: I'm aware that I don't have any real understanding of how it feels to be subjected to racism. I also don't know what the answer is (a feasible one, anyway). I was just stating my opinion because I feel PC has gone too far. I have an issue with the whole self-importance deal in general.
