bdams wants you (to challenge him)

Post by bdams19 »

Hello all! I won't bore you with my history of the game (read my blog if you are interested), but what I will say is that I played for 1 year before taking a 3 and a half year hiatus of which I have recently returned (2 sessions back to be exact). I am rusty, my string length sucks and my flipside needs a TON of work. I am without a bag right now (which should be fixed by sunday at worst) but my plan is to school all 2s until I am dialed both sides before moving on. I really only focused on trying to do moves strong side when I first started which was a huge detriment to my game so I plan on learning from that mistake.

Moves:
ATW (left foot is clunky on this)
Legover
Pickup
Mirage
Illusion
Pdx. Mirage
Clipper
Butterfly
Osis
Whirl

Butter bailed to osis (flux?) (one side)
Fairy Set (one side)
Pixie Set (one side)
Swirl (one side)
Xbody Rake (one side)
Ducking Osis (one side)
Ripwalk (the only stepping move I can do aside from stepping leg over) (one side)

I think thats everything but I might have left out a few. Give me some drills!

I will give these a shot although the first three are pretty much out of reach at this point due to my left foot being retarded. I'm breaking in my waylon bag as we speak and I can't wait to shred it up in the gym after work. I will definately hit the last two though.

Then my challenge is: get all your basic 2s and 3s as close to equal strength as possible. In other words: become more flipsided. I think you will find it helps your health and string variety in the long run.

That has been the main focus of my training sessions as of late. I need to start dexercising too.

Edit: Found this link: http://www.footbag.org/gallery/showset/canvas

Might be of some use to noobs like myself who have yet to modify their shoes since they are super bad ass and like playing with handicaps
