Today was another full day. It started out pretty bumpy though.
I woke up, then a few minutes later the phone rang, it was for me...
"Hey Tom, it's Jorden Moir, I'm at the Oakville train staion."
"...
I told him I would come get him then came downstairs to a big stupid explosion from my parents about the fact that my sister and I don't always live with the same stiff cleanliness standards as my parents. It turned into this big stupid yell-fest, which is something that almost never happens with us, so I was put into a pretty bad mood to start my day.
Anyways, I then wound up with not enough time to eat and go get Jorden in time to get him to his gig so I called him and told him to cab it.
I picked him up after his show and took him back to my place.
Our session was groundbreaking to say the least!
We invented MANY tricks today, and basically all of them involve ones feet not touching the ground!
We were flipping and flopping and rolling and twisting into the craziest positions I've ever seen freestylers try before! It seems we're on the cusp of some pretty crazy stuff. I am going to actually use one of the inventions from today in my routine at World's!
I think my best highlight was achieving a stall I've always wanted, handstand with the bag on my sole with my legs straight up. I didn't get out of it yet, but we learned lots of ways to get in.
We spent lots of time twisting into crazy pretzl shapes trying to find new surfaces and then figuring out ways to get there. Hehe, this is how
"Moir's Tail" was invented.
Anyways, I guess if this turns into anything more than a blip on the radar then all the things we invented today will just be newbie moves eventually so I don't really have to go too in depth.
I think Jorden, me and Vasek have some goofing off to do.
edit: this was my 5000th post!!
