Spenco Sizing scale

Post by ObArA'BaRs »

I have 11.5 lavers and Im planning on getting some spenco insoles, preferably the low profiles because I heard the cross trainers have to much height on the heel.

I learned recently that spencos only come in 10-11 mens and 12-13 mens in the walker/runner and lowprofile.

I was wondering what other guys with 11.5 lavers get?

Does the spenco sizing scale match up witht the laver size scale?

If not, is are the insoles a 1/2 bigger than lavers or 1/2 smaller, or what? :?

spenco sizes tend to be a bit larger than laver sizes - I think an 11 would fit an 11.5 laver without needing much [if any] cutting

It doesn't really matter because you cut the insoles to fit your shoe.

EDIT: My bad -- I didn't read the post properly >____<

i think it does matter cause the heel will be longer and thicker in the larger size. so if you can, get the 10-11. what chimchim said is right too.

I just tried putting my friends size 11 crosstrainers in my lavers and it leaves a bit of room at the end.

I think I might end up buying the 12-13 low profiles.
The crosstrainers put too much lift on my heel or something is just making me feel of balance.

The low profiles are exactly what you want if you want a super thin supportive insole.
The low profile is 30% lighter and thinner than the crosstrainers.

I hated that leaning foward feeling in the crosstrainers.
I think the low profiles provide more balance for my feet.

They are the shit.
