i'm glad you bumped onto this page eskimo joe ... although it wasn't intentional, i felt bad when i knocked your beautiful new bag off the previous page after 30 seconds or so ... it seems we were posting our new bags at the same time

I'm going to sound like a dick (

), but less stitches doesn't mean less tension when you're using tight gather. I've done this method of stitching before, with tight gather and my method of stitching, and I didn't like the result of it. It didn't break in to the point that I can call it choice.

I'm sure what you mean by how your bags are 'so good' is due to the single threaded method you use to stitch your bags, along with the use of button thread. That alone makes a lot of bags that people make (80%)already great. And I can say that nylon upholstery or ribstitch cord, if used properly, can one-up button thread in this regard. But hey, I'm cranky and I feel like being a jerk-ass.

Here's a second pic. Sorry for the bad lighting.

Cameo and Petit Pois, 60 grams lead/seed bead. Loose gather, loosely filled. I used my biggest pent template for 32s with my smallest useable hex. It turned out pretty good, though I'm not exactly a fan of tight bleed holes. Or lead. But she's a keeper.

There is some bad stitching because I still haven't really made the same bag twice yet. I figured out my trick on this bag, so hopefully the next ones will look the same but will be better. I still need heavy filler too, 'cause this one weighs like 25-30 grams >_____<

EDIT: The problem with ordering from the U.S.A. is that it will cost about a million dollars in shipping and taxes.
