You had something like this in mind, right? I tried to find something with an Eagle, a flag, and boobs, but apparently we can't be trusted with that level of awesome. Let's just imagine what could have been:

Just had a midnight solo shred session. Made a CD and put the box on low, so as not to wake the neighbors, and kicked in the alley.

Watched some vid that Jeremy posted (forgotten footage), and had Juan Rangel in there, good ole Juan. style so great. Good mobii and p drifters in there.
Worked flip paradox drifters. trying pdx drif>rip>rpt.
3 mobii BS! So fun, also tried because saw Juan doing them in the video.
20 flip DOD

Then I see some guy down the alley looking at me and not moving. He's not coming out from his house or garage, he's at the T-intersection down at the end - 6 houses down. He's not a neighbor - he might be a zombie! So i pretend not to notice him, and keep playing. But he becomes intrigued and mozys over. He's drunk and keeps saying wow! you're a soccer player, but he started with such a creepy vibe that I'm just wanting him to go away. plus he looks weird, and I'm thinking he might stab me, or rape me. Alas I pretend that I if i hit 3 smears in a row i will complete my session, i pretend to miss once then i do it and go in.

18JUN2007
Practiced ***. Got 6 a few times. Got 9 of 12 twice. Practiced first 2 sets of 3 moves a bunch. The flip pixie is messing me up. 2 mobii BS. Warrior>mobius attempt. toe same symp whirl flipside! prolly first time (from zach's challenge).

19JUN2007
Kicked with Josh @ Jeff Park @ 5. I hit Haze! IDK maybe first time maybe not - definitely one of first few. from lft ft clp.
Kicked in alley at about 1am. practice deep terrages. 12 in a row with pauses. Practiced ***. right leg still hurting after a while. Step up the number of sessions tomorrow?

20JUN2007
Kicked in afternoon - practiced second three move part of ***. leg started hurting.
Didn't kick at night - went to sleep early

21JUN2007 - SUMMER BEGINS!
Kicked at night for 1-1.5 hr in alley.
Hit 1st, middle and last sets of 6 move combos: 1-6, 4-9, 6-12

22JUN2007
Nada

23JUN2007 - challenge deadline
Hit last 9 moves.
Hit 11.5 out of 12 2x on tape. Close but no cigar. The flip pixies got me. The hard links were pretty fine.

24JUN2007
Welles. Reile, Zeke, Nathan, Freddy, Meinard, Twitch, Ronnie. Good turnout. Mostly 4 square. Freestyle was 5 people - Great that so many people want to freestyle! - 5 people in one circle sucks ass though.

Summary
Challenges (with deadlines especially - and a gentlemanly bet of blizzards) are very good motivation to kick. Plus you can hone skills at dope links.
This week i learned or improved at:
terrages
flip pixie shuffle
set low for pdx whirl if ur gonna step out of it.
how to capture and upload video.

Next Week (this week)
I got one challenge from Zach that I put on the back burner, that i'm gonna school, and I may need another cuz I'll prolly hit that. i think 2-4 drills of 2, 3, 4, or 5 moves that can be repeated are good. I should prolly start a challenge thread, but in the meantime:

Challenge Me
Something with double downs maybe or anything else interesting you think is slightly above my current skill set that I could hit this week.

Somewhere in the middle east we're sitting in school. All of a sudden war breaks out right outside. We get drafted into the fighting. Laying down on the sand and trying to snipe the enemy. I can feel and hear the shots going by my head. They have snipers on the other side too...

We survive, but now are slaves in some camp in another country. Reile jumps and touches tree branches. We devise a plan to escape - on a plane! Emily is going to fly it. We have to make some modifications and then create a diversion and fly to saudi arabia. The day comes and some event is happening and the whole town is sorta ours. We play hacky sack. Someone gives me Emily's rock (?) and I drop it. I try to find it again amongst the other rocks on the floor. Zeke tells me I have the wrong one because Emily's has a certain feature he remembers. He finds the right one. We head for the airplane.

60 of us need to escape. Only 10 at a time can fit, so there will be more trips - we are first though. Emily says we can take another take off strip but it's gonna be close but it's our only chance.

I wake up.

I've been keeping up in my journal, but not on here. I'll summarize the past couple weeks in a later post, but I had a dope session just now.

19JUL2007 2 hours! in alley solo
warmup
5 sp cl>sp cl>gy mir BS

Stage 2 of Henry's challenge (Gyro DLO>Paradon>RPT)
1 gy mir>paradon>RPT BS!

Stage 2 of Brian's challenge (barrage>paradon>barfly>RPT)
1 barrage>paradon>barfly BS lots of attempts, don't know why. flip paradon/DD is so good now just from practice the other day - totally clicking, though flip barfly still needs better position

Practice for Henry's other challange (atom>egg>RPT)
5 atom>egg
almost hit the full challenge once and one other time last week

"gyro" osis BS - no plant, swtch spin direction

SO FUN!
1 torque>zooming mirage! BS! medium amt of attempts. so fun. yeah! fucking awesome combo.

Work them pixies - want to repeat this next time or after that
1 smear>smudge>pix ss mir BS

~~~Session Commentary~~~
I remember schooling singe moves mostly and thinking it might be good to start schooling links - and here I am. The weather was so prince. As prince as chilling on a hammock at the beach in Hawaii with a fine woman next to you. I barely sweat till I came inside. Nice long sesh, and I didn't even get sore cept my lower back maybe from picking up the footbag.
My original hacky sack collection from high school. I think the 4th one (why do I keep wanting to call it the salmon colored one?) was used for one day only till it died. We hacked all fucking day then. If only i knew about freestyle then I could've spent all that time more efficiently :) But s'all gravy and cream. I sewed these pups up a bunch of times.
Month of JULY
Days played: 22/31
solo = 5 sessions (bad tom), group = 17
Thoughts on Month
Been accepting and working on challenges which is great (thanks Brian, HG, and Zach and me), but haven't completed a majority. More solo sessions and written goals/deadlines would help. Also, weekly organization would be nice; monthly is too long.
Improved
Longer strings
ducks so easy
better pixies
better spins
Need
More solo sessions
better organization
goals and deadlines
Want
luscious booty in my lap
Challenges hit
pdx drifter>rip>RPT finally (me)
tap>ss DLO>RPT (zach)
rubberman with legbeat replaced by drifter (Brian)
1/2 barrage>paradon>barfly>RPT BS (Brian)
New Moves/combos
I like your recaps. How would you organize it differently, other than the weekly updates?
Goals are good. Ever think about like an overall goal - not a final destination of where you take your game, but what you want every session to be like? I've been thinking about this a little lately, still trying to pin down an answer.
Also, Smarter Hearts by Superchunk is a good song. That has nothing to do with anything, its just what happens to be playing right now.
My shoes were temporarily out of service and that's why i couldn't come out yesterday. I ripped the duct tape off and scrubbed em so I can put some silicone on them. Instead I kicked barefoot. I was gonna try and hit entourage for the cam, but I hit 2 other new moves on video.
