A question for all of you stitchers

Post by pips »

Are you guys proud when a highly-respected footbagger uses one of your bags or when any person using a bag you stitched won an event? I'm sure you are, but I'm just curious.

there is definately some pride that goes along with stitching. and especially if an awesome footbagger likes your footbags.

Awesome footbaggers can play well with almost any bag. I would think its a bigger compliment If new players love your bags.

This makes me wonder why no one wants to support your footbags.

at US open last summer, I had just finished bag #29, and it was bought by Bryan Fournier, and that day, Daryl Genz, the quintessential sandbag freestyler himself, chose to use my brand new bag for his shred 30. We then used the bag for our round circle competition. that was really sweet.

so, to answer the question, yes.

i recently sold a bag to a guy named Fjodor Tihhomirov(i hope i spelled it right) from Estonia, and he had told me he had been playing exclusively with iljas for a while. i was pretty psyched. also when freddy n. bought one of my bags i was psyched, because freddy is a complete shredfest.
Erik Savage- i make and sell footbags for 22 bucks. i also trade.

I think it's alright.

I do feel psyched when a couple of circles are using my bags. But, y'know, bags are bags, so it doesn't really matter that much when you think about it.
