Ok, I can confirm that the event shirt *is* included with your registration fee if you register online - regardless if you pay or not. Of course, you still must pay your registration fee onsite in order to pick up your shirt.

If you register on site, you can choose to buy an event shirt. We will be offering late registration players one shirt at a special price of $10 at check-in only. Otherwise, the event shirts are $15.

Anybody in the host hotel need roommates? Anthony Travel just called me back confirming that there are no rooms left at all. It's supposed to be me, my mom, and Kayleigh (we are bringing a playpen for her to sleep in). My luck is horrible for this stupid event. Geez!

haha so when i signed up for worlds theres that part where you have to put down what events you'll be in and i had always thought that footbag net would be fun, but i live without any other footbaggers near me so ive never been able to play... so i sorta signed up for the intermediate singles. I've freestyled for a long time and hacked before that so i think ill be able to do OK. someone has to get out first round right?

Did anyone else thats a total noob at net sign up just to give it a shot, or am i stupid? just sort felt like i shouldnt pass up the oppurtunity to try...

yes, you can! if you paid the baseline registration fee ($15) then you can go back to the registraion and update if you want to compete. i wasnt going to compete and i sent my money in as a spectator... and then i registered to compete and it says to pay the rest at check in because they werent going to charge my card twice. i dunno if there is a deadline for that though. its worth a shot

I'll be there on Thursday. I think we're staying at Sunny's mom's house for two days until our Terra Verde house opens. I'm not exactly sure where we'll be. I was wondering who else is coming in early and if anyone is up for a shred on Thursday/Friday. PM me if you'll be there on these days and you want to play hacky. I know nothing about the area so if you know a good place to shred let me know where to meet you.

I think this is a very bad idea. If you are not an experienced net player, you will be using muscles you normally don't. They will get sore and/or pulled, and that will affect how you play freestyle. Net is a lot of fun, and I recommend you try it out... but trying a new leg-sport during worlds is a bad idea for freestylers. At Worlds 2000 I competed in intermediate net "just for fun" and it messed up my legs for freestyle.
