756*

Post by Matt K »

For those of you who don't know, Barry Bonds of the San Francisco Giants, has just hit his 755th career homerun, tying Hank Aaron for the #1 spot on the all time home run list (It's only the 2nd inning, so he may hit 756 by the tomorrow).

What do fans of baseball think of this feat? What do people think in general of it?

Who cares if he did steroids.

Hank Aaron probably did too.

Go Barry Bonds!

(I was joking about the Hank Aaron thing)

Correct me if I'm wrong, because I know nothing about baseball, but good hits is about technique isn't it? So I don't get how steroids would have much of a role. Although I guess you'd need strength to hit it for a homerun.

Steroids has a role because when a bunch of them did 'roids they all started breaking records.

of course he has been playing for years upon years of his entire life so his form is excelent. professional level. but when combined with steroids, its lethal. you gotta have muscles to hit it that far too, not just technique.

He's a juicer. He doesn't deserve to be a professional athlete.

Professional sports are way too corrupt in America, at least the major ones. Steroids, strikes, illegal gambling, killing dogs... the list goes on.

It meant something when Hank Aaron hit it. Now it means nothing.

I don't think he deserves the title, damn dirty juicer.

Hank Aaron is clean as a whistle. That's why he didn't bother to attend nor watch the game.

It's like giving credit to the "winningest" lawyer which uses the mob to intimidate the opposition into giving up. (made up word, I know). Or if someone became world footbag champion by beating the hell out of all the other footbaggers and also getting credit for it. Cheaters have no place in the world in my opinion

I'm no longer a fan of baseball, so I guess this is a general public opion.

He's a juicer. Not only is his hitting 756 not an accomplishment but it puts a shameful face on the entire sport by celebrating a man who cheated to make the achievement.

Nobody ever points out that the pitcher is on the juice too.

thats because if the pitcher is on the juice, and is still having home runs hit against him, he's not on the right juice lol

But Oh was hitting them in a smaller ballpark.

I happened to turn on the TV yesterday like 2 minutes before 756*, which was still kinda cool to see.

I'm glad footbag doesn't have to deal with steroid problems. It's so lame.

I heard on the radio today that Bonds had hit 756*.

When someone asked him about steroids, he replied with something to the effect of: "This record has not been tainted; not at all".

Keep telling yourself that Barry....
